why are all Saba stories on incest?no seriously, because no makes stories on Aleu and her brother, Balto and his sister, or Jenna and her father. so why do we single out Saba? is this a mentality or something?

I think it is because Saba was the only other named female puppy other than Aleu plus we know nothing about her

I wondered that too!! That's why I gave her a different role, cuz I'M A REBEL! I think all of these incest fics are ridiculous! Fine, the first like, two were okay, but now it's getting ridiculous. I mean, it's a different story if you have a reason as to WHY you're making Saba of all characters be incestuous, but if you're just doing it because that's what other people think, GET A FREAKING LIFE! Be original! That's what I've been saying this entire time! Geeze!

Ok, so my comment was more towards a rant, big whoop, I'll give you my opinon as to why Saba likes people of her own bloodline: BECAUSE PEOPLE SEE HER AS A SICK F***!!!

I hate incest fanfics. With that out of the way ( ) I don't know why everyone thinks they should make Saba have incest love. It's been a long time since I saw Wolf Quest, so I can't really remember Saba, but I think it's unfair to make her like that just because she has no character that we know about! OK, now I'm just blabbering, but that's what I think. Maybe we make Saba like that because a lot of us are hormonal teenagers. I don't know. BUT ENOUGH WITH THE INCEST FANFICS ALREADY!!!

hmm, i have made a Saba incest ROLEPLAY. But as far as fan fics, ive never planned on making an incest love with Saba. I mean, right now im making a much worse incest fic (you know cat ) but i really have no idea. Juuchan17's were rather good despite the odd relationship. So either people were inspired and wanted to try it themselves, or they just can't come up with anything else.

Oh... I'm not doing Saba and her bro. It's gonna be Saba and someone else, though...

GreyWolf, you don't need to act like there's something wrong with people for writing these kind of fics. Like you just said, you're writing an incest fic yourself. I think just alot of people were influenced by Juuchan17's Saba/Dingo fic. I mean, if you knew the couple im writing, you wouldn't care about Saba being so incestial these days. If it makes you anymore comfortable, in my Kodi/Dusty fic, Saba falls in love with someone else. And don't worry, it's not incest.

Incest = brother + sister = love

I differentiate more kind of storys. An incest story is for me okay, so long so long the story itself is not too... too... mhh ya know...

I see Saba as a character, that is in love with her brother... nothing else... if they are happy...

To Dark Husky: Incest is when a brother and sister fall in love with each other and uh... (how to put this...) do things that lovers do with one another. (It's wrong!)

To All: I don't know about the rest of you, but mine was the 2nd incestuous (I don't know if that's even a word lol) fic to be written, the first was Juuchan 17.
I must admit that I didn't read her fics for a while, because the idea struck me as gross and wrong, I mean they're dogs!
...but my curiosity got the best of me (as it often does) and I finally read them.
I thought they were written quite well and enjoyed reading them.
I only thought one thing should have changed, and that was the fact that in Juuchan 17's story, Balto and the family were accepting of Saba's... relationship.
I thought he and Jenna (especially he and Jenna) would lose their freakin' minds.
So I PM'd Juuchan and asked for her permission to write "Balto: A Forbidden Love". I wanted to explore the characters' reactions to a revelation of this magnitude, and I wanted that reaction to be overwhelmingly negative.
I kept Saba as the female because I gave Juuchan credit for the idea, and wanted it to be in tribute to hers.
I guess I kind of started the rash of fics, because I was the first "copycat" writer. (There is nothing wrong with "copycat" writers by the way. There is a difference between copying an idea and plagerism.)
Anyway, that's why Saba probably gets chosen the most, Juuchan made the first (with Saba) andd I made the second (again with Saba) so Saba was pretty much the designated target.

What else should their parents do? Their pups have their own life... and somewhere is the point where noone can tell them what to do... so they have to accept what their pups are doing...

Well that may be the case in acctual life, but i agree with Rotromel. Just because it'd be the right thing to do to accept their daughter having a love life with one of her own siblings, doesn't mean their going to do it. I mean, sometimes things can just be way to wierd for some people. I mean, you don't like Incest do you? Well, what if you had kids and they started having an incest life? Their are 2 ways you can go and Rotromel just explored the negative side. I guess in this case you could call it, the road less traveled.

And Rotromel, i guess you could call me a 'copycat' writer as well. When i read your fic 'Balto: When a Mistake is Made. . .' i got the idea for my fic 'Kodi's Big Mistake' In yours, Balto cheats on Jenna. In my, Kodi cheats on Dusty. Only I changed one little(well, BIG) detail. Kodi landed the female he cheated on Dusty with(Asher) pregnant. I never saw anything in your fic about weather or not Balto landed Angel pregnant or not. I just assumed he didn't since nothing was said about it.

Of course I don't ...but hey, it's just a story.

If I had kids, of course i would try to tell them that it is not right, but someday there will be a point, where they just don't care about what the parents are saying... If someone really want to do something wrong, they won't be stopped... not even of their parents...

actually, incest isn't just brother and sister, in these cases it is, but incest can go as far as father to daughter or mother to son.

I'll admit incest fics are getting...REALLY old. Also, I will never write one. 1) my siblings are bound to read my fanfics and I don't want them reading that stuff 2) I just find it...rather WRONG. (as in gross) I go red just thinking about writing an incest fic!
