If you mean to say somthing else after you just posted but then you think "I need to go back and change that." ALWAYS click edit instead of back or it will post it twice. If everyone already knows this, a mod can lock it.

This is something that is valid for any page on any site, as soon as there are forms.

This was a good idea. Lots of new people don't relise that they can edit things.

Yes. I think I may actually have an idea that could tie into this.

Is there a possible way to make the same announcement appear in every board? If so, there should be an announcement that explains how to use the site and all of the important rules. Some of the new members don't look in the introduction topic, so they might not read the rules until after they've broken some. If the rules are posted in every board, then maybe we could be a little more successful.

Just a suggestion.

I don't want to make people have to click one more time everytime they want to go on the forums, just for the rules and other indications that no one will even read. (I know that I hate the forums which do that)

I don't think you understand. I mean that we post the basic things that newbies should know in an announcement on each board. Either an announcement or a sticky topic.

And well, there's already a link to the forum rules at the top, which is displayed on every page.

Heh, not with the skin that I use. I use Aeolus. Could it be displayed with all of the skins maybe?

Very few people uses a skin different from the default one. (29 out of 1850...) So this doesn't seem really necessary.
