(X-posted from TBL's board)
Hi everyone
I figured that if there were anywhere to post this, it would be here...
I opened up my website, Balto's Zodiac http://mywebpages.comcast.net/snowwolf/bzindex.html in 1998 or so... wow, has it been that long? Anyways, I loved being a webmaster and getting to interact with the community. However, once college started, I had less and less time to maintain a website, even a dead one, and it sorta fell idle. Even so, it was fun having one of the oldest Balto sites around... I think it even had a few visitors!
At long last, my family is moving, and our new home will not be supplied with Comcast as our provider. As a result, my website is officially going down... I can only assume it will be gone sometime next week, when our service runs out.
My computer only has a very few MB left of space on it, and with moving, I don't have any time (or enough will) to even begin to back it up... nor would I have any webspace to reupload it once things get settled.
It's been a good run. I'll still be a Balto fanperson, of course, just one without a site. I don't think the internet will mourn too much over it. But if any of you have it linked, I suppose you should take it off.
Have a good day!

Aw...I didn't really go onto Balto's Zodiac very often, but a few links on other sites did take me there. I'm sorry that it's not working out anymore. I wish you luck.

Balto's Zodiac was one of the biggest Balto sites I've found. You can't let it die! Why can't your new house be provided by comcast? I know, you can transfer it to Bravenet or something! Buy a domain, anything, just don't let Balto's Zodiac die!

Well, that's really sad One of the oldest and most interesting Balto fansites to me...
Are you really sure that they are going to take it down? I know that some providers keep this kind of things (webspaces, email accounts...) even when you go to another provider.
In any case, the site will still be visible on Webarchive :

BTW, it seems I wasn't the first one to make a donation page...

And, did you know that there are still some people roleplaying on your forums?

Awww, thank you everyone. What kind things to say! I'm glad that you stopped by and visited the site. We're pretty sure that Comcast deletes stuff after service is shut off (it'll be a pain organizing my email)... and I literally have no time to do any saving myself. Donation pages - my site isn't worth it.
AC, thank you for the offer. Silver already knows about the site... I wouldn't want to trouble you though, nor take up so much space of the Ice Cave server! Truth be told, the site never finished its construction since we moved to Comcast ages ago, and I'd feel like I was just storing my junk in someone else's closet.
Steet... they are? I left those boards years ago! *LOL*
