This book is entirely about wolves, ane it gives a different perspective on them. It gives them a religion of thier own. Here is what it is in the most basic ways:
Two gods:
Fernis (Male wolf-god, by whom male wolves swear upon)
Tor (Female wolf-goddess, Fernis' mate, by whom the female wolves swear upon)
Another central figure in wolf mythology:
Sita
Sita was the female wolf that was sent down by Tor to restore peace and order among the wolf packs, as they were all fighting each other in furious outbreaks of violence caused by Tor and Fernis fighting. Sita was able to stop the violence, by being peaceful and telling the wolves stories, and comforting them, and telling them that there is no death, and that joy and love was the greatest courage. Sita, however, was alowed by Tor to be mocked and spat at by the wolves, knowing that Fernis was vengeful and had a short temper. The wolves continued to do this until a friend of Sita's betrayed her and the wolves killed her. This was planned by Tor so she could show the wolves what they had done, and that it was the worst thing they could have done. Sita was later ressurected from the dead by the wolf-gods three months later, since she had been telling the wolves that there was really no death, and the fact that she was the daughter of gods. It is said now that when wolves die, they go to the heavens with not just Tor and Fernis, but Sita as well.
This is just something that I thought all you roleplayers might keep in mind when you start another rp thread. I think it's a good idea, but what do you all think?
