I know I'm new here, but the reason I joined the forum in the first place was to write a series of well fan fiction in script form. The first of which is Balto: Stabbed in the Back.

Syposis:
Balto after helping Aleu's back find the Carubu is asked by another Wolf Clan to settle blood feud between them and another clan that has been going for centuries. Meanwhile Jenna encouters a old flame from her past.

This is first one and I'm telling you it's the ending you got to watch out for.

I'll only say: Get the story rolling!

Nah war writers it ain't bad thing to read more things. I'm only learning new words how to detail death

Balto: Awakening

TEASER:

INT: NOME, ALASKA: EVENING

It’s a normal day in Nome, people are busy either looking at the new fur coats or the freshly catched fish or crabs. Loads of people are walking to and from work or from shops, some are even driving CARS.

The camera focuses on the two dogs walking through all of this, as we ZOOM in it’s revealed to be BALTO and JENNA who really isn’t enjoying any of this.

Jenna:
Balto did we really have to go through all of this?

Balto:
Jenna, you’re still looking at the glass half-empty, trust me you’re going to love what I’m going to show you.

Jenna:
I still don’t believe you Balto.

The half-wolf smiles.

Balto:
Don’t worry, you don’t have to.

They continue to walk past all the busy people getting ready to head home or possibly go to work.

Balto:
Come on Jenna just past here.

CUT TO:

INT: FOREST OUTSIDE NOME: EVENING

Balto and Jenna are walking the forest, Balto in the lead while Jenna follows him, looking relieved to be out of the small city.

CUT TO:

INT: SMALL HILL OVERLOOKING NOME: LATER

We see Balto and Jenna climb up the hill, Balto is still leading the way while Jenna has her eyes closed, and soon enough the lovers stop.

Balto:
Okay Jenna open your eyes.

She does and her eyes glow with what she sees, a glistening, beautiful sunset, darkness is just touching it making the sky have layers of colors, while lights are just starting to appear in the city below.

Jenna is amazed by the sight and turns to Balto.

Jenna:
Balto this is amazing, how did you find it.

Balto smiles, he’s been waiting for this part.

Balto:
I was flying with the bush pilot one evening and saw the most beautiful sunset you would ever see, and I wanted you to, eh share it with me. But I knew you would never fly with me, so I found this hill, just for the two of us.

Jenna:
Oh Balto….

(V.O.)
Excuse me.

The duo whip around to see a trio of wolves looking at them. There were two in the back one brown, one black, while the one in front had a greyish tone to his fur.

Balto:
(Not pleased)
You are you three, why are you here?

Wolf Leader:
I apologize for interrupting your time with your mate, but we have to ask you for help.

Balto:
Why me?

Wolf Leader:
Because you are Balto, are you not? The one who helped the Caribou Clan escape starvation, are you not that Balto.


The half-wolf sighs.

Balto:
Yeah, that’s me, what do you need help with?

Leader Wolf:
My clan is about to wage war with another, it is a blood feud that has been brooding for centuries to this point. Myself, I want this conflict to end, so I went to the one who can end this, you.

Balto nods, then turned to Jenna.

Balto:
Jenna I….

Jenna:
It’s okay Balto, go on I’ll tell the others where you’ve gone.

Balto:
Thanks Jenna.

He walks over to her and KISSES her.

Balto:
Don’t worry I’ll be back.

Jenna:
I know you will.

With one last look the mates’ parts, Balto going with the Wolves, while Jenna watches him go. We close up face, filled with grief, before we:

Okay here's part of act I.

ACT I:

FADE IN:

INT: FOREST: EARLY MORNING

The group of WOLVES with Balto in toe is walking in a standard Alaskan forest. Except this time there doesn’t seem to be any threat of wild animal attack. Balto looks around, still not comfortable with this scenario, so he walks over to the leader.

Balto:
Excuse me, um sorry for not catching your name…

Leader:
It’s Neua.

Balto:
Okay, if I’m going to do this, could you explain to me how this blood feud between your peoples started?

Neua:
I don’t see why not, you see our elder’s teach us that in one of the great famine times our clan had killed one of the last Caribou in the region. Unfortunately the clan we fight against, the Raven Clan helped in the slaying of it. Soon after there was an argument both of our clans came to blows, and then well it got to the point where we started killing our pups.

Balto looks down and thinks for a minute, he can relate to what seeing somebody’s dead pup must feel like.

Balto:
So you expect me to patch your clans up? Neua I don’t see how I can do that.

Neua:
You are Balto, that is reason enough. Excuse me, we must speed up our trek if we want to make it to my Clan’s home.

Balto watches him go, before looking around the woods. He doesn’t seem like he believes the wolf.

INT: NOME ALASKA, JENNA’S HOME: SOME TIME LATER

We see Jenna sleeping on a rug, she doesn’t look like she is going to get up any time soon until:

KODI runs in the room.

Kodi:
Mom, mom, wake up!

Jenna stirs and looks up at Kodi, we can still see she is still grieving that Balto has left.

Jenna:
What is it Kodi.

Kodi:
Mom, you got to see this, it.. It’s amazing. Where’s Dad?

Jenna sighs.

Jenna:
Your dad has gone once again into the wilderness to help some wolves that are in need of some help.

Kodi:
Wow
(beat)
Come on mom we’ll be late.

Jenna rolls her eyes.

Jenna:
Alright Kodi, let’s go.

Kodi:
All right.

The young mail dog heads out the door followed by Jenna.

INT: OUTSIDE: SAME TIME

Kodi followed by Jenna walk out to reveal what practically looks like all of the dogs in Nome gathered around something.

Kodi:
Come on, it’s this way.

Jenna follows Kodi as he they head into the massive gang of canines, the husky continues following her son until:

DIXIE winds up right next to her.

Dixie:
Jenna, I’m surprised to see you here, I thought you would be with Balto.

Jenna:
Balto gone off doing the hero thing, so I’m just following Kodi, but why all the commotion Dixie?

Dixie:
Well from what I could get from Sylvie, apparently some hot shot sled dog has come into town with his team and musher, everybody has gathered to come talk to them.

Jenna:
Great, another Steele.

Dixie:
Oh, no, no he’s not like him, he is a great dog, and I’ve gotten to talk to him a couple times actually.

Jenna:
Of course you have Dixie.

Dixie:
I have Jenna.

Jenna just smiles walks away leaving a bedazzled Dixie as she walks towards the front of the collective. Not really interested the red furred husky looks at the new arrivals and

GASPS!

Jenna:
Chris.

INT. WOODS CLEARING – SAME TIME

The group enters a clearing, which leads them out of the forest into more rocky territory, all sorts of WOLVES are there. Beside this rocky clearing is a beach of some sort with water gently rocking back and forth on it. It’s quite a beautiful sight.

Balto looks at all of this in amazement

Neua:
Do you like it?

Balto:
I do, it’s..it’s beautiful.

Neua:
I know, wait till you actually see at sunset, it’s amazing. But first come meet the alphas, we need to discuss our plan.

Balto:
Wait, plan, what plan?

Balto tries to get an answer but Neua is nowhere to be seen.

INT: NOME, ALASKA: EVENING

The crowd of dogs have shrunk since we last saw, them, the last of them are talking to CHRIS and his team. In this last group we spy Kodi among them.

Jenna who near the group just smiles as this last group leaves allowing Kodi to run up to his mother.

Jenna:
So how was it?

Kodi:
(Excited)
It was amazing, the guy is just so cool, so professional. He…he’s my hero. I got to go talk to him again.

Jenna:
(laughing)
Alright why don’t you talk to him tomorrow okay, I want to talk to him right now.

Kodi:
Oh, oh okay Mom no problem.

He WALKS off camera as Jenna walks over to the team just as they were going to turn in.

Jenna:
Hey chris.

The husky turns to see Jenna there, his fatigue disappears as he sees her.

Chris:
Jenna, my god you live in Nome.

Jenna:
Yeah, I’ve been living here for a while now, you still a sled dog?

Chris:
I’ll always be a sled dog, it’s in my blood.

Jenna smiles at the comment and changes the subject.

Jenna:
You staying in Nome for awhile.

Chris:
I’m staying for a little bit, why?

Jenna:
I was thinking you may want to catch up.

Chris smiles.

Chris:
I would love to.
(turns to his team)
I see you guys at the Master’s place.

The team nods and heads down the road while Jenna and Chris go the other way.

FADE OUT

END ACT ONE

Act II

FADE IN:

INT: WOLF CLAN HOM: EARLY MORNING

Balto looks around the encampment but Neua is nowhere to be seen.

Neua:
Balto over here.

The half-wolf looks over to him and runs towards where Neua was shouting.

Neua:
Balto, inside the cave are the clan’s Alpha, he has decided to listen to our proposition.
(Balto nods)
But only that, he is as much anxious to attack the Raven Clan as anyone, so we must be very convincing.

Balto:
Okay, but Neua if you don’t mind me asking, why do you care about going to war with this clan?

Neua:
Don’t worry about it, come on we don’t want to keep him waiting.

The duo head into the cave as we
CUT TO:

INT. CAVE - SAME TIME

Balto and Neua enter the cave and as we can see it is your typical cave with stalactites and stalacmites all around it, and water dripping from the ceiling.

Balto:
Nice place.

Neua:
(smiling)
We try to keep everything as simple as possible.

Balto nods as they head towards the center of the cave and in the center of the cave does a small puddle of water surround a large rock. Sitting on top of the rock sits the ALPHA. This alpha appears to be very Niju looking in appearance exempt he has a darker type of coat.


Alpha:
Welcome friend Balto to our clan’s home, Neua says you can help us with our Raven problem.

Balto:
Well I would like to help but without any violence.

Alpha:
You don’t propose we war on those flea bitters?

Balto:
Neua and myself believe that there is another solution, one that will help both clans.

Alpha:
(Not happy)
Do you know what those monsters did, they stole OUR KILL, OUR LANDS, MY MATE!! Those monsters possibly understand the menaing of a truce or whatever you intend to do with us.

Balto:
Sir if I convince the Raven Clan Alpha to help us, will you help us in our plan?

Alpha:
I will.

Balto:
Thank you, that’s all I wanted.

Alpha:
(Nodding)
It is appreciated that you take a interest in our plight friend Balto, and if you can recruit the that foul excuse of a Alpha then we will talk peace.

Neua:
Thank you lord.

Balto:
Thank you sir.

Both Canines bow before the Alpha before departing the cave.

CUT TO

EXT. OUTSIDE CAVE – FEW MOMENTS LATER

Balto and Neua exit the Alpha’s cave, both don’t display their emotions in light of their present quest.

Balto:
(Shaking his head)
I knew it was going to be one of those days.

We ZOOM IN on Balto’s not happy face before we CUT TO:

INT. NOME – DAY

Jenna and Chris are walking down the main street that leads all around Nome, in the background we can see a few Model T cars. But all the people today are walking to and from stores, jobs, or restaurants.

Chris:
So this is Nome, huh.

Jenna:
Yeah, over there is the wood-carver, my girl’s parents call him a carpenter.

Chris:
Good human?

Jenna:
Yeah gives my girl toys, and when my pups were real young he gave them chew toys.


Jenna looks up at the sky, remembering the good times before looking back down at Chris.

Jenna:
Come on let me introduce you Doc, you’ll love him.

The sled dog gives her a warm smile.

Chris:
I’ll Love it.

The two run off as WE CUT TO:

EXT. FOREST- FEW MOMENTS LATER

Neua and Balto are once again trekking the wilderness, it appears like all of the other forests we have encountered so far.

As the camera ZOOMS in on Balto, we can see that something is bothering him, so he looks towards Neua.

Balto:
Neua, can I ask you something.

Neua:
Off course not my friend, ask anything you want.

Balto:
What’s your interest in all of this and please tell me it’s because of some clan responsibility thing.

Neua:
(Sighs)
Your going to find this silly but I met a female.

Balto:
A female?

Neua:
Yes, from the Raven Clan, we met when I was scouting for my clan. She was drinking water and I was too shy to go over to her and say hello.
(Beat; smiling)
So she came over to me, and for the entire day we talked and talked until the Sun set and went back to our clans knowing that we would never see each other again except as enemies. But I don’t expect you to understand.

Balto:
But I do Neua, I understand completely and I promise I will make sure that this thing between you Clans ends.

Neua:
(Happy)
Thank you Balto, now come on the other clan isn’t for another day or so.

Balto nods as they both continue to trek through the forest.

INT. NOME – SAME TIME

Jenna and Chris are just passing the outskirts of the town when they Jenna looks back at Chris.

Jenna:
Don’t worry it’s not much farther now.

Chris:
Hey, I’m a sled dog, I live through a little trek.

Jenna smiles a bit as they walk towards the ABANDONED FACTORY.

Jenna:
There she is.

Chris looks at the old factory and is not very impressed.

Chris:
That’s it?

Jenna:
Yeah, come on I’m sure that Doc is there, probably preparing for the meeting tonight.

Chris:
Alright, lead on.

The two dogs walk towards the factory and seeing that the door is open WALK INTO:

INT. FACTORY – SAME TIME

The duo walk in to see Doc talking to a few dogs, Chris looks at Jenna who just shrugs back.

Jenna:
Uh Doc is this a bad time?

Doc turns and smiles when he sees Jenna.

Doc:
Not at all, I was talking with a few dogs about the meeting tonight, which I hope you and your pups will attend.

Jenna:
I don’t know about them but I’ll attend.

Doc:
Who is this with you.

Jenna:
(Smiling)
This is my old friend Chris, he’s a sled dog.

Doc:
Aren’t you that famous sled dog, that has won what was it 20 races in row?

Chris:
That would be me.

Doc:
Well I must say it is a good to finally meet, would you two like to stay for the meeting?

Both dogs looked at each other and nodded.

Chris:
Sure.

Doc:
(Happy)
Excellent. Please sit and get comfortable, the meeting will start soon.

Jenna and Chris find a comfortable space to sit as WE CUT TO:

EXT. FOREST –SAME TIME

Neua and Balto walk keep walking through the forest until Neua suddenly STOPS.

Neua:
Hold on.

Balto:
What?

Neua:
We’re here.

Balto:
At the Raven Clan’s territory?

Neua:
(Nodding)
Yeah, now do what I do and hopefully they’ll be in a listening mood.

Balto:
Yeah, hopefully.

The duo walk through the Forest as we..
BLACK OUT

END ACT II

Act III

INT. FOREST – SAME TIME

We cut back to Balto and Neua as they trek closer to the Raven Clan’s territory when all of a sudden WOLVES spring out from everywhere. They surround the duo leaving no chance of escape, while one of the wolves walks towards our heroes, he is jet black with a cool business like way about him.

Lead Wolf:
Who are you two, why have you come to our territory? Could it be your from our enemies, sent here to spy on us?

Balto:
We were…

Neua:
(Interrupting Balto)
Yes we did come from Eagle Clan, but not to spy on you. We came for a truce between your people and mine.


Lead Wolf:
(Laughs)
Why should I believe anything your clan has to say to me, was it not your clan who attacked mine in the middle of the night killing five of my best hunters and four of my young? Was it not your clan who took our meat, and tried to take OUR hunting grounds? I don’t think I need to listen to anything you have to say, now leave my territory before I have my brothers’ claw you up into something unregonizable. And take your friend too.
(looks at Balto and pauses)
Wait I know you, who are you?

Balto:
My name’s Balto, I come to help your two tribes settle your differences.

Lead Wolf:
Balto, as in the half-breed who helped the Caribou Clan find new helping grounds.

Balto:
(Smiling)
I only played a small part, my daughter was the one who really helped them but that’s not important. What is important is stopping this feued. You already said that too much blood has already been spilled.

Lead Wolf:
It’s not that simple, this feud is ancient, it’s in all of our blood, and it’s a part of our culture. You can’t just ask us to forget that.

Balto:
I’m not saying to forget about it, just learn from your past and try to solve the problem without wolf blood split because believe me it can be done.

The Lead Wolf turns away from Neua and Balto it looks like he is contemplating what Balto says but he eventually looks back towards the half-breed.

Lead Wolf:
You have given me much to think about Balto, I have no reason not to trust you, you have proven to be a wolf of your word and have helped the clans when they needed. It.
(He pauses)
I will consider what you have told me Balto and I will speak with my Clan about it, until I return you two are my honored guests. Please come with me.

Balto and Neua nod as they trek towards the Raven Clan’s territory.

CUT TO


INT. FACTORY – LATER

There is a large gathering of dogs at the Factory, the crowd is filled with various dogs of all shapes, breeds, colors, and sizes. They all circle Around Doc who is in the circle of the massive gathering. In the throng of Dogs we see Jenna and Chris sitting with the rest of the dogs and Doc begins the Meeting.

Doc:
All right, everyone, as we all know summer is ending, that means soon enough winter will be upon us. Which I dare say means that the races will begin soon and when that happens I will inform you all about what time the races will start.

Doc stops as everyone cheers.

Doc:
the city will be expanding some pretty soon, so please be on the look out for that and for right now it shouldn’t really affect. Now on to more important matters….

We ZOOM out of crowd to enormity of it as we

CUT TO

INT. RAVEN CLAN HOME – NIGHT

Balto and Neua walk follow the other wolves into their home territory, it is a beautiful little cliff with a cave in the middle of the forest. All sorts of Wolves appear to look at their new visitors with question faces the Alpha turns to both of them.

Raven Clan Alpha
Welcome to our lands Balto, Neua, this is our territory. Isn’t it glorious?

Both canines just nod their heads.

Raven Clan Alpha
(Smiling)
Here let one of my people show you two to your quarters, our meeting will be held tomorrow. Good-night

Balto:
Good night.

Neua:
Night.

The Alpha departs as a YOUNGER WOLF appears, allow me to show you to both of your quarters friends.

Neua
Off course.

Younger Wolf
This way please.

The duo follow the young wolf into the cave, they go through all sorts of twists and turns in the natural structure until they reach a portion of the cavern that almost appeared to be room.

Younger Wolf
This will be your room, good night friends

Balto/Neua
Good night.

The wolf nods then leaves as Neua turns to Balto.

Neua
Hey Balto I have to go somewhere.

Balto
Where?

Neua
It’s not important, just know I’ll be back before our meeting.

Balto nods as he watches Neua depart, we focus on this for a bit before we:

END ACT III
