One thing...I'd change the stupid animation for them in 2 'n' 3, but if you mean them as characters then, same, Balto goes and lives with Jenna.

Eh, I don't want Balto to live with Jenna. Balto is a wolfdog that cannot stay in one place for a hour or more. He must run, and do whatever he wants.. I wouldn't change one thing on Balto 1!
But on Balto 2 and 3? I would change it where they had no pups.. Balto was fixed in RL at a young age, I believe... Or better yet, no Balto 2 or 3. ^^

It would be cool if Balto did go to live with Jenna.But like you said there would be some complications.

I wouldnt want Balto to live with Jenna...It'd destroy his wolf side.
I wouldnt change anything in B1, just in B2 and B3.
I'd have Steele return for revenge and I'd have liked more scenes with Balto kids in B2 and B3, I mean, they (with the expection of Aleu and Kodi) werent even shown, it's like they disapeared or something...
