Animation Source Forums

I know that some time ago there has been taken a decission to stop the drawings that is not related with Balto or wolfs/dogs. But, some people might like draw some other characters from animation movies, they have a higher call in that, and they would like to share them with the other BS community in fanart. Recently I like drawing from Bambi, and I realy enjoy it. Unfortuantely I cannot present them on fan art site because they are not considered "on-topic".
This is just a sugestion, would be nice people be allowed to show the rest of the community their traits. Allowing only dog class drawing means there is a very high restriction which will prevent potential talented drawers reveal themself. By all means do not allow drawings such as demons, etc that might issue a deep discussion, but other innocent drawings from other animated movies hould be very nice.

Dusty, they're talking about fanart on the site...plus, the Fan More section isn't for fanart at all...it's for requests and wallpapers.

I think this could be a good idea, but like you said, if it does get allowed, we shouldn't go too far with it. We should at least be able to keep on the subject of animals and nature.

Yeap, animals and nature includes a great majority of the animated movies, and also allows a person to discover and show his talent to the community. And besides it is very enjoyable.

I don't think it's against the rules to post non Balto art here on the forums, just not on the main site. So if you want to share your Bambi art I don't think there'd be a problem with that.

If it's the main site you're referring to then no. It's strictly Balto because most people want to see Balto when visiting a site about Balto. If you want feedback on your off topic fan art join FanArt Central or DeviantArt. There are many people from this site on both of those places.

Well I know it's only wolves/dogs that you can put in your own gallery but you are allowed to put other animal related fan-art here on the forums.

Thanks GK. And I would add that you can add a link to an external gallery like Deviantart, in your BS fan art gallery on the site, if people want to see more of your drawings.
