Nametags for BS Trip!!!

OK. I'm not sure how many of you have heard about the 'trip' some of us are planning. If you haven't and want to see the whole thing, go to Just a thought!!! (Given the go ahead!!).

As some of you may know, I'm in charge of doing the nametags and shall post the ones I have done here later on.

But for those of you who don't know about this, this is the jist of it...

-Whitewolf(uk) came up with the idea of having a 'get-together' with all the people on Balto Source.
-Parents ARE allowed and it is recomended that they come with you.
-Once Whitwolf(uk) has heard back from Universal (she e-mailed them) we might be able to sell fanart/fanfics, show merchandice, ect.
-There are (as of now) 5 official organizers:
1. Whitewolf(uk)
2. Nick
3. Kari
4. me, Tibb_wolf
5. White Wolf
-We are almost 100% sure we want this to be held in Chicago. If anyone knows of any nice hotels that has a large function room, PM Whitewolf(uk) or any of the other organizers or post on the 'official page'.
-Whitewolf(uk) has done some research and gotten some security ideas. Once I get her permission, I shall post them here as well.
-We have gotten an OK from Steet. He will not be there, but we have his permission to do this.
-Obvioulsy there is going to be NO beer or alchol or smoking. None!
-Silent Wolf and Lakoswolf are helping.
-If you want to help, just PM Whitewolf(uk). We need all the help we can get!
-If you want a permission slip, just give Kari a PM and she'll send one to you via e-mial. When you PM her, include your e-mial address.

-Parents are now required for all members who want to come that are under the age of 18.

With all that said, I shall now put up the nametags I have done so far. But before I do, keep in mind all these are mine. They are for this event only and no one can use them unless they ask ME first. Thank you.

There you have it. My 6 nametags so far. I'm working on one with the trio from Balto 1. I have finished my Nava one, but I'll wait to put that up. If anyone wants to request a certian character for a nametag, PM me or send me an e-mial at [email protected] When I'm done, we're going to vote on the fav and Kari shall send those out.
And I'm sure that's all for now. Make sure to check out the 'official' page for ALL the info on the trip!

I have decided to make special name tags for the parents with whichever Balto character they want! Just post here or PM me to tell me what character they want and what their name (or names are if your brining both your mom and dad) are so I can do that.

I would've like to have gone,I was talking about going,but was talked out of going,and I would've like to have seen Chicago,if that's where the Balto Source member meeting is to be at.

That would be a question to put on the main page for this. I can't answer that alone. It's the group of organizers that has to decide that. :wink:

I am still don't know if I can yet, a few of the reassons are is I have to take my cusin to Finland to do a presintation to all the schools in Finland and she will be there for a year, I will be there for a week or 2 then I have to go home, after that I have to go Japan to pick up one of my cusins and pick up a few things, then I have to go to Toronto to atend a huge movie meeting at the Silver Screen buidling regarding a few things.

Then from there I have to take my brother to New York to stay with some family there and alot of other places, so im exreamly busy but if I can I will let you know.

Why do you keep saying there's nothing to do in Chicago? I'm guessing that you've never been there. Where do you want us to hold it, NYC? Probably. But just because a city isn't the biggest in the nation (and Chicago is pretty close-it's number 3) doesn't mean there's nothing to do there.

Exactly right Nick. Doby the reason for us choosing Chicago is because it's more central and not nearer to North,East,South or west, just in the middle so everyone has a chance of getting there and as for the air-fares the event will probably be 2008 so there's plenty of time to raise the money for the air-fare.
Dusty I'm not exactly sure you fully understand the concept, if you want to know more then PM me and I'll try to answer any questions you have.

2008? Hehe, actually no, if you had it on the East coast somewhere -since lots of people come from Europe- could get their easier. Also even if it was on the West coast. Its eaiser either way.

No, not at all. Besides, if the European members want to have meetings and can't get to this one, it would be a lot easier for them just to have their own over there.

Well this is sort of a test event too, if all goes well and enough members from europe want one a european event will also be thought about.

I'm not saying any more on this, I don't want tibb's topic to be locked because we can't stop disagreeing, this is for the PMs.

Anyway, I believe we're completely sure that it's going to take place in Chicago. Though I'm almost positive that I can't go to that one, I'll still help organize it and I'll be organizing another one that's not too far away from where I live. Keep in mind that this is going to happen in a few years so that we have plenty of time to plan.

Also, Tibby (xD), could I get a blank nametag so I can send it to the people who already have a slip?
