Yes, they do look very similar but I don't think they're related at all, in B1 Steele is all dog, no wolf in him at all, Niju is all wolf, not a trace of dog genes, also, in both movies they are meant to ne the...bad guys (I hate that phrase) but in B1 Steele is the bully, he's the one that all the others will suck-up to and he loves attention, in WQ Niju is the bully, he's the one that others will look to, in both movies both characters have three dogs/wolves that follow them but take the side of Balto at the end of both movies. In design both characters are extremly alike and it is most likely that the WQ animators used Steele's design to create Niju's design.

I thought they did. But like Whitewolf(uk) said, they can't be realted... Well, in the brother since.. They are related in the cousin since, though.

Although Steele and Niju both howl,Niju looks more wolf-like than Steele.
