ok,i was inspired by the Devil topic to post this to everyone,u see what happened with Devil right...he said he was 26 and liked wrestleing i knew Devil very well infact he actually liked me wich is to gross of a thought.

Anyways that isn't my point on posting this,AS A WARNING TO ALL;"Please do not meet people over the internet in real life at the airport mall or where ever!There have been TO MANY CASES of children being "hurt" either sexually or by abuse because of meeting people over the internet,no matter HOW WELL OR HOW MUCH YOU MAY TRUST A PERSON DON'T MEET THEM!!!now i know for a fact Devil had photos of himself wether they were real i dont know but anyone can hide theyre real identity even through photos DO NOT MEET PEOPLE!!!AT ALL!EVEN AS ADULTS ITS A DANGEROUS MATTER!!NEVER do it!I read a story in the news paper about this women who was pregnant and this lady she was chatting to who was pregnant but had lost her baby but claimed to be pregnant on the chat,so they thought they had alot in common so they met up.The lady who used to be prengnant killed the lady who was really pregnant and cut her stomach open and took the baby"

...Now all of you who read this and say"i don't care i know my friend over the internet well enough to meet them they'd never abuse me sexually or anything"LISTEN UP!!!Anyone is capable of rape,Even I could do that!!don't even trust me or anyone at all!!!If you do you will be sorry that is when problems start!Another thing be carefull about who u chat with,look for how the person is if they are rebellious and angry i wouldnt be friends with that person none the less meet them also those types of people seem nice over the internet but we dont know how they may be in real life though.Some of my friends are like that[my internet ones i mean]they have told me themselves that they act overly happy but are really depressed.

Now people listen up i know three people in my life who have gotten pregnant by makeing bad decisions by going with guys who are rebellious, dont listen to there parents,and are just plain bad,and u see that they are rebellious and angry with their behavior over the internet,don't meet them they will most likley abuse u physically and sometimes sexually to[that was a message for all u girls]It's the same case for guys to,[now i must warn u all im only saying this because this is usually the case it isn't meant offensive to anyone this has happened to]like i was saying,guys if u know girls over the internet who say they have a baby and were raped,it isn't a good idea to trust that sort because i have lived my whole life with somone who was raped and now has a child.This girl i know is very rebellious she never listenened to her parents and went hanging around with the wrong crowd and so that happened.

Now i know that had nothing to do with chatting on BS but they were good warnings for how to tell a good person from a bad person over the internet,of course people can still lie about theyre identity and most likley always will,But all of u read what i said and think about it please never meet people over the internet no matter how well you think you know them.Also people,if u here that the person u know over the internet was lieing and is really a different age take that into account and be aware of it.I spent a long time typeing this but this topic is devoted to somone if u know who u are....anyways please listen to what i have said i tried to make every statement as true as possible.

No,you should never meet someone offline,that you only know online,because,suppose they turned out to be an Internet stalker?,that could be very dangerous.

yes i was kinda upset when i saw this topic. viewtopic.php?t=5858 i'm sure its the right one also i think its getting at meating members ofline. For all we know some one who is in that planning could be a rapist.

I've met several people off the internet, it is safe but only if your an adult. Children shouldn't arrange meetings.

KK,I'm an adult,and the point that I'm trying to make is,what if I were an Internet stalker,not that I really am,it's just something someone shouldn't take a chance on,I mean I sound nice enough online,but what if I'm really not as nice as I sound?

Hey, people... DON'T freak out. Just because you know someone from the internet it doesn't mean he/she would kill you. That could happen in the real world as well, by any contact you have to other humans. It's surely better not to tell your chatting partner all about your personal details, which would be the main problem in this issue (because people tend to spend more time in discussing privacy matters, as they believe to be anonymous), but that doesn't mean you should fear the internet people more.


Well... IF someone wants to hurt you, then chatting isn't safer, in no way. You should see what informations your computer shares with the connected servers - that'd freeze you to the ground.

I never said chatting was safe i said it is safer.and Acainis no offense but i would never meet anyone off the internet not even as an adult its still plenty dangerous being an adult doesnt mean its safer always be cautious no matter what age,hey an adult is considered being 18 right?18 is still a young age it wont make u safer...

If any of u knew Devil you would know meeting people s isnt a good idea Devil even had a pic of "himself" but in reality he was 15 and named Cody Everett so that goes to prove even photos can't really show who you are anyone could lie.Meeting people over the internet would be fun and all but still i wouldn't do it.I'm a Christian if i ever wanted to meet anytone i'd pray first and ask God to see what his answer is.

Yes, meeting people you only know online is extremly dangerous and no-one, adult or not, should go to meet someone they've met online on their own, EVER. I know I can't really say much coz I'm organizing a Balto fan event (please see topic 'Just a thought!!! (given the go ahead)', don't go wasting space on this topic) but full security measures will be taken, including bringing a parent(s) along with you, but don't anyone go meeting someone alone, talking over the internet is easy and so is lying, there are many people here that are'nt lying, like myself, but it is far better to be safe than sorry.

I meet plenty of people off the internet in my city, used to play CS and we meet to a beer or two and talked. Also meet with some corp mates from a MMORPG, and we everybody meet in England, and quite many camed from different parts of the world there.
You just have to know when you should do it

Yes,im truthfull about myself but meeting people off the internet in real life is dangerous.Like i said no matter what age the only way ud be safe is if a cop was with you.
