Well you'll never guess where I was at 7 a.m. on Sunday the 11th. Yep that's right...teh videogamefreakzor was at Fred Meyer in the electronics section picking up a brand new shiney DSL. Once I got this shininess home, I fired it up and took it for several test spins. I did an extensive comparison of it to my original DS (yes I haven't sold it yet) and all things considered...the DSL is ten time better than I thought it would be. Not only are the screens brighter, but they also enhance the color on any DS or GBA game you plop into this bad boy! Like I said before, (i can't remmember where or when) you can read all the reviews you want, but it's nothing compared to seeing and experiencing it first hand.
I don't usually glote but, I was the second person IN MY CITY to get a DSL. Yay!

You'll be very pleased if you do, I nearly depleated my fun-funds and I still think I got my money's worth.
You might want to wait untill some more color variations come out though. There's a chance that they might come out with a black DSL some time in the future...but if you're cool with white (like me) then by all mean get one ASAP!

I had doubts about the DSL in the beginning too believe it or not. But now that I've got one I can call my own, it never leaves my sight. I'll also add that on the lowest light setting this little guy will last 15-19 hours! I played it for half a day and when I went to recharge it, it regained the power I used in 15 minutes! The total charge time on this puppy is 3 hours by the by...

No its just waaaaaayyyyy too small for my hands. Since im 16 and just like 6 foot 2 my hands are quite large. so its nearly impossibvle for me to grip...i just didnt like the way it felt. Still love DS as a whole..but the lite just wasn't meant for me.

How did you get your hands on a Lite before the release anyway?

But that still doesn't explain how they got one before the release...unless it was just a couple of days before the release.
