The thought just poped into my, Why do some of the pups have blue eyes. the reason i ask this question is coz neather Balto or Jenna have Blue eyes.

It's all about DNA and genes!

It's possible that some of the pup's characters come from Balto's or Jenna's parents, or even further from the past generations. It happens all the time. My eyes are green, but my parents' eyes are blue. How do you explain that? My granny's left eye is green! These things are quite common, and again, many huskies and some of the wolves do have blue eyes.

I agree with Twikins, it's all about your family's genes after all. But the husky fact is true as well.

That's right. It's all about what genes the pups recieved from Balto and Jenna and the genes they recieved from their parents. Usually it's a recessive trait like this that isn't seen so often, though for Huskie's I'm not sure whether it's blue or yellow that's recessive. In wolves, it's usually blue and yellow is the dominant, so that's more than likely why Balto's eyes are yellow and some of his pup's eyes are blue.

It's Genetics, Maybe Balto's mom or dad or Jenna's mom or dad had blue eyes.

It could happen. But I think they chose that because it was just more simple.
It's not really that big of a deal.

They probably carried it from their ancestor and one pup can hold one eye color.

Aniu didn't have blue eyes either, sometimes it just happens... both my parents have green eyes and mine are brown...

This has nothing whatsoever to do with genetics, people. You're over-thinking what was nothing more than a production design decision by the artists and animators of the Balto 2: Wolf Quest movie. A story device. All the confirmed female pups (if you observe carefully) have blue eyes, and the confirmed male pups have brown eyes. Aleu and Saba both have bright blue eyes, while Dingo and Kodi both have brown. The two that are question marks (the red-faced pup and the red bar-nosed pup...the red "Aleu clone") are harder to discern...but seemingly have brown also, which infers that they are both male as well.

"Genetics" is a good explanation in theory, but irrelevant here. And if you were to ask Phil Weinstein (producer of the two sequels), he would probably tell you the same thing (if he even remembered).
