A little story about my character Buckles. Rated PG for certain scenes and jokes.


Chapter one

How it all started

August 23rd 2002

Buckles was born in the guest bedroom in the house her mother's owner had in Santa Monica. She had 2 siblings Checkers and Leon, All of which were a mix of black, light gray and white. Buckles was the smallest of her siblings, in short she was a runt. She weighed only half a pound at birth(Wolves usually weigh 1 pound at birth). None the less her mother, Phoenix cared for her. Buckles was somewhat shocked at what had just happend to her, the dark yet warm comfort of her mother's womb she had known for a few months was replaced with cold air from outside and the fact she was wet from birth fluid. "Don't let me out! put me back in!" she thought as her mother's owner ripped open the sack containing Buckles. She cried...er... yelped the first few minutes of being exposed. But then Phoenix brought Buckles closer to her and tried to comfort her.

"Hey, there...take it easy" said Phoenix. Buckles quickly stopped struggling, she remembered her mother's voice from hearing it in the womb. She still wasn't completly aware of where the voice was coming from since her eyes were still closed. Other then that she allowed herself to be dried off by a warm, soft and dry towel. After all her siblings and herself were cleaned and dried off the pups wanted to be fed. Phoenix roled her eyes in the opposite direction and laid down on her side. Phoenix shuddered at the feeling of the pups begining to suckle on her. Buckles however wasn't interested in eatin right at the moment, she wanted to rest but her mother's owner tried to get her to nurse but it was no use. "Buckles, c'mon...you know you want to" said Phoenix "Ohhh, I know I want to..." thought Buckles but she was tired. After her brother and sister finished feeding, they both went to sleep. Seeing that Buckles wasn't going to fed easily her owner's neighbor, Mattie who had come to help, tried to hand feed Buckles which turned into a laugh riot.

"Ok now that was easy" said Mattie but she didn't relize her shirt slightly unbuttoned from feeding her own daughter! Buckles didn't care, all she knew was now she wanted to be fed and she wasn't going to wait. Mattie didn't pay close attention when she was holding Buckles who latched on to her nipple! "Hey! hey! let go! " said Mattie. Pheonix laughed "Not so easy is it, fancy pants?" she said to Mattie. Buckles wasn't interested in letting go, she had a tight grip on Rina who had to pry open her mouth with her fingers in order to get Buckles to let go. Immeditly Mattie placed Buckles on one of her mother's nipples. Phoenix resumed laughing at Mattie, the sight of a wolf pup accidently nursing from a human seemed to be absulutely hilarious. "That's no funny" said Buckles' owner Rina. "You know what you're right... that's not funny it's histarical!" Phoenix replied. So far Buckles' life seemed to look good, but this wasn't the only hilarious scenario she would have in her life.


End of chapter 1.

I got the idea for the last paragraph from a TV show called "Yes Dear"

I hope you enjoyed the first chapter on my character Buckles, it was just something I put together It wasn't the type of beginning I wanted, I may change it later though.

This is just an alternate version of chapter one, I decided to change it.

Glad to hear you like the alternate version of chapter one. But anywa here's the one I've decided to put in the story.


Buckles grew up in Santa Monica, California. She has 2 siblings Checkers(female) and Leon(male). Being the the runt isn't so easy for Buckles but she does get away with a lot But today "a dark cloud cast a shadow over the flower" so to speak.(a.k.a A trip to the groomers)

Buckles' owner : "Buckles! guess where you're going today?"

Buckles: (to herself) "Not the groomers"

At the groomers...

Buckles: "I hate it when she does this"

Toy white poodle: "Are you crazy? I love coming here!"

Buckles: "Jock, you call coming to the groomers great? I call it cruel and unsual punishment"

DJ the german shepherd and black lab mix: "Crime and punishment"

*laughs*

Buckles: *growls *


1 Hour later

Buckles' owner : "Now that wasn't so bad"

Buckles: "Speak for yourself"



Later...

*Loud burp*

Chance the Beagle/Bordercollie mix: "Can you burp on cue?"

Leon: "Yeah infact I can burp all my letters...*burping* A, B C..."

Checkers: "Quiet please"

*Leon burps right in her face!*

*Buckles laughing*

Checkers: "That's it I'm thourgh! bye ya'll"

Leon:(continues burping) "X...Y...Z"
