I disliked the energy system and the single player campaign, there just wasn't enough gun play for me and you where always forced to rely on the bigger/heavier weapons and machines. The online play was great but you often feel cheaply killed when you're spawned right next to an enemy mech or sniping point. The graphics where incredible but, then again, graphics don't make a game.
