 Post subject: whats the name of the color fur balto has

It is sort of a grey/brown colour, I don't think it has a name.... I just use a pencil and very lightly colour him all over and go over lightly with a brown crayon.

Well orignial film he's brown with a tan underside, in WQ he's more grey.

If using a Photoshop, Corel, Macromedia, etc. program, enter these parameters below:

Primary Color:
Hue: 16
Saturation: 83
Luminary: 65
Red: 92
Green: 65
Blue: 46
Cyan: 58
Magenta: 76
Yellow: 44
Black: 29

Underside Secondary:
Hue: 20
Saturation: 62
Luminary: 126
Red: 165
Green: 134
Blue: 103
Cyan: 140
Magenta: 132
Yellow: 112
Black: 81

**Note: These parameters may not work on all systems- depending on what colors your system supports (16-bit, 24-bit, 32-bit, 41-bit << mine). Try experimenting a little with these settings and you'll get it sooner or later.

i just use dark brown and tan. Thats how i color him :o

I just use the thing that looks like the eye dropper and click on a pic of Balto. That has always worked for me. :wink:

Balto's color has changed so much, you could probably color him any brown you wanted and it'd still look like him :lol:
