Imdb has it set for 2008, and it was updated last December. Also, are you sure you got the thing about Peter right? I thought he was supposed to be a producer. Either way though, I am sure he will have some sort of unput.

...And now they're making a movie?!  I didn't think that they would make a movie out of a game like that...I'll bet you anything that it's going to be rated R for blood and violence.  I think the plot is going to be hard to make up for the directors, especially for a game like Halo. I hope they do a good job with it...

My thought...as long as bungie has control and theres a decent producer and director..it has a lot of ability to be good.

I agree if Bungie didn't have controll then I would probably not watch it, but they are filming it now as we speek.
Im suprized that it will be out sometime in 2007, I would think it would take longer but I guess not, there is a whole bunch of new movies coming in 2007, like Jurassic Park 4, AVP 2, lots of marval movies and much more.
