It seems on this fourm some people are having issues [thsi is not pertained to one perticular person as I have seen many instances] But maybe possibly ensuing a temporary ban for people who post disrespectful comments would put a stop to it.

Because frankly its starting to get a little un-nerving.

I've noticed that too! That's a good idea.

Maybe it'd be a little harsh if we make it like, "Hey, that's rude! YOU'RE BANNED!!" Some people are just too into he moment, y'know?

But I do know that some people are always letting their emotions get the better of them. For this, I suggest we ensue some kind of warning system. You know, three strikes you're out? Something like that.

Right. But also, I think other people may also be confused about extreme sarcasm or joking. I'm just gonna say that before you go off pointing fingers, be sure of what you (and they) are doing.

I think the big issue here is:

1. Disrespect to the mod's position
2. Throwing insults at inocent people (I saw this done a few times here)
3. Saying unneccicary things like "Your art stinks"

Other than that, I really don't agree with the ban system Suka, mainly because it makes you feel like your under a microscope and can't express yourself

I believe I'm the one to entirely blame for the dis-respect to the Mods.

I've seen it a lot on the boards and I know some times I can be a little disrespect full sometimes and I'm sorry for that.... hey Snowboarder Doby doesn't your site have a warning system? I saw some thing like a warning system when I was looking over Rusty's shoulder one time

I never said anything about banning anyone. Especially in a thread like this, it's important we don't give out any names here. Problem is, most people "express" themselves by throwing insults and meaningless agruements for others to only join and make worse. I'm not saying you're not allowed to have a bad day -- and if anyone'd like to talk something over about what's happened to them, then it's okay, so long as they're willing to let others talk to them.

Maybe a 'warning' might sound more like a punishment. Think of it more as a 'reminder'. A reminder for you to think about who you're talking to and how you're expected to act.

I would agree with you Suka like with the warning system if you get 2 many you could like lose smily privlages and so on but the more you get the harsher the punshment. But there would be one problem with it thou. Only certain people should be able to give out warnings because if anyone could give out warnings people would get warnings just for stating there opinions so I think Mods should be able 2 give warnings.
