(Okay this is kinda my own version of Balto 3, please read^^ This is a story about that how Kodi become a hero, just like his father Balto. This may look a little same like Balto 1, but its not all same xD)

~ Chapter 1: The new morning ~
It was an early and cold winter orning in a small town of Nome, Alaska. A young wold-dog, Kodi, has just woke up in his father's boathouse, and was now stretching. He yawned, and looked outside. Just when Kodi got himself up, a little drop dropped on his nose. Kodi looked up, and noticed some icicles on the cabin's roof. He then walked outside, yawned and streched again. Now, he walked away from the boathouse, and went to see his parents, Balto and Jenna. Balto noticed his son, went off to him and saih hi.
"Good morning, Kodi." Jenna said to Kodi, and then smiling said:
"Oh, you look tired." Kodi smiled, and yawned again.
"Yes..it was kinda cold night out there." he replied, and then looked his father Balto.
"I know." Balto replied, "but now you know how it is like."
"Yes, I totally do!" Kodi said, and laughed. Then, he saw Dusty, a beautiful female husky, who was a very good friend of him.
"Hey, that's Dusty!" he said guietly.
"Dusty, over here!" Kodi shouted, and smiled. Dusty noticed him and walked over to Kodi and the others.
"Hello Kodi. And hello, Balto and Jenna." Dusty said smiling and wagging her tail. Jenna and Balto smiled at her, and then Balto said:
"Hello to you too Dusty. Well, we'll leave you two alone." He then winked to Jenna, and then they walked off. Kodi first looked at his parents who walked away, and then turned his head to Dusty.
"So, umm...How are you, Dusty?" Kodi asked, and sounded a bit shy.
"Well im fine thanks. How about you?" Dusty replied with a smile. And that smile made Kodi feel very nice inside...
"Oh, well, I.Im fine. Look, umm..just a shot in the dark, but I was wondering..I dont know, maybe you'd like to..go to see the northern lights with me?.." Kodi finally got those words out of his mouth, and then grinned. Dusty looked at Kodi, and started to smile.
"Sure, I'd love to!" she replied happily, and then hearded her owner calling her.
"Oh, well, I gotta go now. Bye Kodi, see ya soon." Dusty said smiling, and walked away.
"Yeah..see ya!" Kodi mumbled guietly, and watched Dusty walking away with her owner. Then, Kodi went off to walke down the streets of Nome. Suddenly, he saw his two best friends, Ralph and Kirby, at the alley.
"Hey, Kirby! Ralph!" Kodi shouted and run off to them.
"Hi there Kodi!" Kirby said, when Kodi runned to them.
"What's you guys up to?" Kodi asked them, ans sat down beside Ralph.
"We were just waiting for our masters to give us some food!" Kirby replied to Kodi.
"Yeah, they better hurry, Im starving!" Ralph then said and licked his lips.
"All you guys think is food." Kodi said and laughed. Then, he get up.
"Well, I guess I leave you two now. Bye, guys!" Kodi said, and then runned away.
"Bye Kodi!" Kirby shouted after him, and then noticed that Ralph was eating a steack.
"Hey!!" Kirby shouted, and the they started to fight about the steack. Kodi looked at them, and kept walking. Suddenly, he hearded a little girl's voice calling:
"Dustyy!". Kodi get his ears straight up, and smiled. Then, he started to run to where that voice came from, and he didn't even watch where he was going, so he runned right into Dusty.
"Ohh!" Dusty said surprised, and looked at Kodi.
"Dusty, I..um..ehhehh!" Kodi said, sounding embarassed, and grinned to her. Dusty was just about to reply, but then her owner said:
"Dusty, come oon girl!". Then Dusty turned to Kodi, but now he was gone. He had walked to his father's boathouse, and was now sitting on the bow. Then, Balto came up to him.
"And, what is so interesting, my son?" Balto asked Kodi.
"..Dusty." Kodi replied, and sighed. Balto smiled.
"Love? Oo, show her what you're made off!" Balto said and grinned.
"Nahh, she's not my type." Kodi replied.
"And why not?" asked Balto,"..is it because your wolf-blood?"
"Yeah..I mean, she's a pure blood husky, and Im..part wolf." Kodi said, and lowered his ears. Balto looked at his son, and then said:
"You have to go to talk to her."

Later, Kodi went to Dusty's house, and called her name. Dusty came out, and went to Kodi.
"Hi Kodi." she said smiling.
"Hi.." Kodi said to her, and smiled back.
"..so, umm..will you go to see the northern lights with me?" he then finally asked.
"Oh, sure, I'd love to!" Dusty replied, and smiled to Kodi. Then, they went to the mountain-top, and then they saw the northern lights.
"Ohh, they are so beautiful!" Dusty said happily, and wagged her tail. Kodi turned his head to Dusty, and smiled.
"Yes..beautiful..just like you, Dusty." he then said smiling.
"Oh, Kodi..." Dusty said and also turned her head to him. Then, she layed her head on Kodi's shoulder. Kodi smiled, and nuzzled er softly.

CHAPTER 1 ENDS!

Mhh nice job so far.. and you are right... it really sounds like Balto 1 on some parts

I found a mistake:
"Dusty looked at Dusty, and..."

I think it should be "Dusty looked at Kodi..."

Anyway: Nice job! Keep it up.

Ahh man! How could I possibly mad that mistake!! >X(

Ohh, well, anyway^^ Chapter 2 coming soon 8D

~ Chapter: The diptheria! ~
So, Kodi and Dusty were looking at the northern light, and when they got back to Nome, they saw Dusty's owner, Emma, going to the hospital with her father.
"What?..Emma?" Dusty whispered, and runned to the hospital's window. Kodi followed her, and they saw her at the doctor's table.
"What..what she's doing in there?" Kodi asked, and looked inside.
"..she has some healt, and a terrible coach." Dusty said, and looked Emma coaching and holding her chest.
"..Kodi, what's wrong with her?" Dusty asked, and looked at Kodi with a worried face.
"I..Im not sure..but I'll go find out. Come oon!" Kodi replied, and then jumped down from the window. Dusty followed him, and Kodi took her to the
boiler room.
"W-what is this place?" Dusty asked Kodi.
"You'll see." Kodi said, and put some ice-caps.
"Look. Its ice-caps!" he said.
"Kodi, tha's broken glass. And this place is pretty dark." Dusty replied, with a bored voice.
"The sun!" Kodi said and smiled.
"Ahh, Kodi.." Dusty said, and still sounded bored.
"And,,to the north!" Kodi says, smiling, and then Dusty turned her head, and saw a beautiful northern light-wiew on the wall.
"The..the northern lights!" Dusty said and started to smile.
"Kodi, you're right, its so beautiful.." she sighed and looked at the northern lights.
"Yeah...beautiful.." Kodi sighed, and just when their noses were about to touch each other, the doctor came to the room, and Kodi and Dusty went to listen to him.
"..I think its diptheria..and we're out of anti-toxin again." the doctor said and sighed. As Dusty hearded this, she was shocked.
"no!" she shouted and runned away.
"Dusty? Dusty Im sorry, I..I shouldn't have brought you here!" Kodi said and runned after Dusty.
"No, Im glad you did.." Dusty replied, and then they walked outside. But then, Steele apperded, and laughed nastily.
"Well well, Kodi. Looks like some-one haven't learn anything!" Steele said, and he was carrying some sausages. Then, some mans came up, and Steele throw the sausages right on Kodi's neck. Then the light hit him.
"Well, looks like Kodi has been stealing your meat!" Emma's father said, and grapped the sausages.
"Its a good thing Steele was here! Protecking us from that wolf!" Steele's master said, and Steele laughed evily.
"Get out of here you thief!" Emma's dad shouted,a nd kicked some snow on Kodi. Kodi shocked, and runned away.
"Kodi!" Dusty shouted, and was gonna go after him, but Emmas dad grapped her.
"Come on Dusty, we're going home." He said. Kodi runed to his father's boathouse, sighed, went to the cabin laying himself on the floor, and sighed.

Chapter 2 Ends!

Very great! It reminds me of Balto 1 alot! =D Keep up the good work... It makes me want to watch Balto again, but it's so late right now. =P

It reminds me of the original Balto also,except that Dusty looks like a blue-eyed?version of Balto,and Kodi is a darker red version of Jenna.
