Summary: The story of an orphan wolf pup who meets some of my other characters and must overcome obstacles that seem challenging to a pup
PART 1
The cold wind froze my face as I laid in the bed of soft, powdery snow. My mother and father had saved me from hunters, but now I don't know where they are. The wind blew a small pile of snow onto my face, it stung my eyes which were now closed tightly, and I thought I was going blind.
I tried getting up, but the cold pushed my coal fur and my body back into the small, dug out hole I had made in the ground. I shivered and dug a little deeper. The cold would not decrease, and I had been freezing the entire time. "This is pointless." I thought to myself. "I'm going to freeze; there's nowhere to go and night is coming. I'm done for unless this storm dies down!"
I tried to get up, again, but fell once more, back into the freezing white sheet that would have a chance to be my grave if I did not find shelter soon. I huddled myself together and hoped that I was going to make it out alive, and not a pup-sicle. More snow blew onto my face and I struggled to get it off. The snow kept coming and I could not get away or shake it off.
I closed my eyes and prayed for a miracle. Nothing happened and I groaned, closed my eyes and lay there, half unconcious in the snow dug-out.
A soft and warm object moved my body. It didn't hurt, though. It felt good and I woke up to see a golden yellow wolf pup around my age. She was without guidance and seemed to be an orphan as well.
"Are you ok?" She asked.
I nodded. "Yes, but I'm cold and I felt awful a few minutes ago and I don't know where my parents are.."
"That's ok," the she-wolf pup said, "I don't know where mine are either."
"Do you know a place where we'll be warm and safe?" I asked.
She immediatly said, "Yes, we can go to my den. It's hidden and no other wolves, animals or humans have ever seen it. I was going back there from hunting but then I saw you."
I looked at her and nodded 'yes' quickly and said, "I think we should go now, I'm cold and tired."
"Ok. Let's go."
We ran swiftly, side-by-side, and arrived at the den. I was more tired that I'd ever been before, and she let out at leastfour yawns in a row; she was tired, too. I found the warmest corner and lay there. She laid down next to me so we'd be warmer and we fell asleep, tired, torn from being in the cold for too long, and without parents or guardians, we would need each other from this day foreward. We would soon see how good of a team we were, and that we would need each other more than we thought.

PART 2
Dawn broke and the golden sun warmed my face as I tried to move from the small hole that I had fallen into when I was sleeping. The she-wolf pup that lived in this cave was already awake. She wanted to go on a hunt, and hopefully be more succesful.
"I think we can do it." I encouraged her. "We're probably a really good team."
She looked at me and gave an agreeing nod. We didn't see what danger could possibly happen as we both sniffed the ground, our puppy snouts nudging the dirt. The other pup tripped on a pile of twigs and slid across the white sheet of snow. She landed in front of a hound, which was baring fangs.
"RUN!" She yelled to me.
"Wha? Why??" I questioned. But by the tone of her voice, it sounded like we were in trouble.
I then heard canine barking. Then I saw the hound and ran for dear life. Maybe next time I should do what she says, not question. I thought to myself.
The hound jumped on top of me and I felt sick; before they vanished, my mother and father had taught me that hounds kill wilderness animals for humans. The humans kill you, take your fur and eat you. I felt like I could throw up. Then the wolf pup ran back and bite the hound's skinny tail. It gave a yelp and a human called a name.
"Cop? What's going on?" It called.
"Uh-oh." The she-pup exclaimed. "Human! That's a bad sign!!" We kept running, but the hound barked to the direction of the human's voice and chased after us.
We ran around a pile of debris from an old boat that was washed up on a beach, and later moved by a hurricane. We hid inside and hoped that the hound wouldn't find us. We prayed even harder that the human wouldn't find us; THEN we'd be done for!
We heard loud sniffing; it appeared close by, and the human whistled to the dog.
"Cop, I don't understand you today." He said. "You've said you found something and then there's nothin' there."
Cop whined a bit as his human approached him. The human rubbed Cop's back and said, "If you must, do it." Then he ran into the boat. We held our breaths and didn't budge, but he found us, we ran, he caught us.
"This is the end." I exclaimed.
"Good-bye, world. I liked life while it lasted." The she-wolf pup said with a cracking voice. We closed our eyes and waited for the hound to kill us, ending our short lives.
TO BE CONTINUED.

You do? most of my stories stink, and no one reads them on the source, either way this one's boring. If people don't read it I'm stopping. I wouldn't blame them. It really is kinda dumb just like everything else I make
