Is there any way that members would be able to bump a topic, or move it to the top of the list, without double posting? Since double posting is against the rules and there's no other way to move a topic up (unless staff members are allowed to do it) I was curious if this would be at all possible.

Ok, I understand that now. But still, is there any possible way of enabling members to bump a topic without double posting?

No members cannot make a sticky topic. If they could there'd probably be a flood of them. ><

That's not what I meant. I was asking if there was a way that members could move topics that were at the bottom of the list to the top. It's called bumping.

I hope not. Otherwise you'd have a lot of the new members bumping up topics just because.

True, the reasons have been said. Although I don't have any problem with double posting for this reason, with the condition that the topic was enough old (> several days)

Only if a topic is worth being bumped, go ahead, not some 'OMG I bought some new shoes!11!!111eleventyone1' sort of stuff.
