It had been 17 years since it happened to my mom and dad. By it I meant the Flight of American Pride’s Flight 29. I’ve been plagued by dreams of the flight, you know the story of what happened so that’ll save time. But after they landed my dad Albert and my mom Bethany dated for a while and then married and had me. My dad now is a professional Violinist making some six digit number. We moved to California when I was six. But every year everyone that was on Flight 29 would be fly back to California. We all had pictures of Dinah and Nick because they saved our lives. Brian dated Laurel but they called it quits after two years. She had never gotten over Nick and kept the Fillings and the Teflon Disk that was in his knee. But I didn’t think when you disappeared you died but I didn’t know how right I was. I had been seeing a Girl in New York for three years and even thou she was 18 two years older that me it was ok because in a few years I’ll look older that her. But I didn’t Fly that day because I would be going from California to New York and that was too much like the day my parents were on Flight 29 so I drove.

I had been driving for a little while I drove Go-karts since I was seven. And Now that I had my own car witch my dad bought me I was ready to go to New York, but I think a little stop in Arizona was in order where there’s no speed limit. She’s a Porsche GT2 Ebony Black the stock ones go only 198mph but after having it tuned in the Factory they said she could do 215mph but probably more with the Nos Kit she had. After waiting forever to leave I said goodbye to Brian, Laurel, Bob, Rudy and my parents. I started my baby up and drove off to New York. The drive to Arizona was sort of long but when I go there I stopped my car go gas then drove out on to the road and stopped. I revved the Engine and then I punched the paddle!! Within 3.5 seconds she was at 62mph then my eyes shifted to the long straight road ahead. Now I hit 120, 125, 130, 135, my body was attached to the back of the plush charcoal leather seat. Then on to 160, I started to watch the road more carefully knowing a spin out could have devastating effects. I was glued to the windshield but I saw her get to 200mph “only 15 more miles until you’re at your top speed. Come on Come on baby you can do it,” I said. Then she hit 210 and I saw smoke. “Oh no no no baby don’t do this to me.” But then I realized it wasn’t coming just from the back (where the Engine is) but from the whole car, and the smoke was a dark Blue! Then she 215mph and the car were engulfed in Blue Smoke. Thinking I might hit something I slammed the breaks just before she hit 220mph and then a sinking feeling entered quickly as she fishtailed and spun out. I must have hit my head on the steering wheel because when I awoke someone was tapping on the window. I got my head up and turned to see Nick Hopewell!! I freaked out “OH No I died, but wait why was I still in my car and why did my head hurt so bad?” I got out and heard him say “are you ok that was a bad spinout but where’d you come from I was just sitting here when you appeared. “You’re Nick Hopewell,” I stammered
“Yes I am,” he said with a sigh, ‘But how do you know me?”
“You saved my parents lives but failed so for yours.” I got out
“What’s going on here?” Nick demanded.
“ Well I seems as though I some how drove into the past to be exact 17 years into the past when you died and this must be where you go to await haven.” I looked around but was stunned to see that the desert I was just in was now a lush green meadow.
“Who are you and what do you mean I saved your parents lives?”
“Well 17 years ago today you were on flight 29 when you volunteered to talk them into the Time rip and disappeared never to be seen from again. But I knew when someone disappeared they didn’t go to Haven or hell immediacy!” I felt so proud of myself for that.
“What do you mean 17 years ago? I just got here it’s only been 10 minuets since I was on the plane.”
“Well Flight 29 happened in 1989 I’m from 2006 that weird smoke stuff did something to my car.” I said
“Well how is everyone?” Nick asked “What’s changed since I disappeared?”
