This is a poll dedicated to the most HATED Balto characters. So tell me, what are the characters that you despise [P.S. Get a load of my new avatar. Cool, right?] I personally voted Steele because when he threw Balto into that rock and thought he was dead, he was LAUGHING!!!! What's up with that?! It made me want to rip his head off!!! Somebody, please give me some feedback!

It didn't done nothing bad to Balto...I dunno exactly,but I remember about a similar topic,Oh well,I mostly hate Steele...

Katlag, he is annoying. Thinking he is all smart saying all these words, it annyoing how he uses them, rambling these complicated words constantly. Use them in a rational sentance, dictonary brain!

I argue that you have to use knowledge in a practice, useful manner. Katlag used his knowledge of words as Show off, no control in the matter. What a freak

Steele, he reminds me of every person I hate.

He'd probably be in "Other"

...it's the villian's role to laugh when the hero is in denger. I don't hate anybody.

For Steele, I actually love him. he is the best villian character in all Balto films. I even love his laugh. ( call me crazy that I really do adore villians. ) if you're gonna hate him. please remember that it's because of him that Balto became a Hero. why? Because he's stupid and got lost! and he's stupid ( and power hugry ) that he didn't let Balto help him but he attacked Balto and fell off the cliff himself. giving space on the lead dog position which Balto took. which means Steele's existance had made the story a lot better even he didn't mean to.

For kaltag, I don't think he is evil at all. he's just afaid of Steele and was trying to fit in by making fun of Balto just becuase he thought Steele might wanted to see. remember the scene that he made fun of Balto in front of Steele. but when Steele left, he said to Niki that Steele was a bad dog! don't you remember?

For Rosy's father, he isn't evil again. it's true that he kick snow at Balto. but Steele had stolen the sausage and blamed Balto and he believed Steele (he is the best dog in town that time) so he was misunderstood that Balto Stole the sausage and drive Balto away. it's all Steele's fault.


So there! I didn't vote. I don't hate anybody. I love Steele. and the others have thier reasons. it's just a movie, and the movie needs villians! don't get angry!

I agree with Drawolf here.

Steele is the obvious bad guy - he's proud of himself, and is popular to boot. He just doesn't want anyone to steal his spotlight, especially not a half-breed like Balto. So he's a bully and a liar, but it gives him an interesting personality. Personally, he's the better villain of all of the trilogy.

Kaltag isn't much of a villain - just a crony of Steele's (the same goes for Nikki and Star). As one of Steele's underlings, he is quite double-sided. When Steele's around, it's obvious that he prefers to help with the bullying of Balto, but as soon as Steele's out of the picture, he does a complete 180 degrees and hates Steele with a passion. (Nikki and Star are just like him)

So I guess Steele and his gang each have their two sides - Nikki, Kaltag and Star help out Steele with bullying, but they hate the way that Steele acts sometimes; and Steele is such "glory hound", greedy for power, attention, and respect for his "purebred" strength, but the whole time, he's nothing more than a lying piece of cheese.

Uh, Rosy's dad . . . . he's not a villain IMO. He's just a person that, unlike his daughter, believes that Balto could turn on him, due to the fact that he is half-wolf. He falsely accused Balto for something that he didn't do, but of course, since the dogs cannot communicate with the humans, Balto was guilty for something Steele planned (besides, who in town would think Steele would do anything bad such as stealing?).

I vote for Steele. He's a great villain and is well developed.

I hate Steele he thinks he's a hot shot

Niju is a cool villian for WQ II, but the best villian in Balto 1 is teh Grizzaly bear

You either love him or hate him. If your in support of Balto, your really going to hate this guy. Then again, If you really like him, like me. You get to see thats he's a great villan. (I'm actually quite jelalous of what a great villan he is)

Katlag: I don't care if he was a good guy, or if he was supporting/bad mouthing balto or steele. He's just annoying!

Rosy's father: I have no strong feelings. The humans (Except rosy and duke) were not a strong area of the balto's movie. It was just his judgement.

I'd have to say Steele, even though he's one of the villians that most of us are forced to love as well as hate. He's my least favorite, but he's still one of the best thought out characters in the movie.

Kaltag isn't a villian at all, at least in my opinion. He may have been on Steele's side in the beginning of the movie (like when they were taunting Balto), but after Steele is gone, he soon warms up to Balto. I think he was only acting the way he was because he was afraid of punishment from Steele.

I actually wouldn't blame Rosy's dad for kicking snow at Balto; no offense to him, of course. If I found a dog eating my food (and it was a stray) I would probably shoo it away too. He had no way of knowing that Steele had set Balto up. He wasn't there; all he saw was Balto with the sausages. The only thing he saw was a stray dog eating his food. He had a reason to kick snow at him.

Well Steele, since he's made to be hated as a villian.
