I guess that's why they have similar expresions cause Kodi's Jenna's son and Jenna's Kodi's mom.o maybe they have because of *generation* or blood.

Good find, it wouldn't surprise me that the Balto 3 animator of that scene took example on that scene in Balto 1.

Yeah, I am pretty sure they used the original production models as a reference. Just darkened the fur, slightly changed the shape of the eyes, and added more noticable countour lines along the top-sides of his muzzle.
