Hehehehe, the russian translations of english movies is famous in the because is too horrible, even because the big diference between both languages.

For the brazilian versions of balto, i never noticed a bad translation, by the contrary, is impressive how they could mantain the maximun they could the original scripiting in the translation, but of course, i still prefer the original audio track

A question for spanish people: is my impression or who sing "everything flies" in spanish are two womens?

I would like to hear the Japanese version (if its out). I've seen both the English and Japanese version of an anime called "Wolf's Rain" the translations are different, but still sticks with the story. Its not just with Balto movies.. all translated TV shows/Movies/ECT are different

heh wail 'till I say about Thai version...It's not so horrible but too cheapy like :
Bato2

when Boris talk with Jenna and he says "he's a wolf on a mission" but in thai he says "ya know that crow is a wolf who transform himself" not only it's completely different but also use "himself" instaed of "herself"

"who you really are" song. They translated a half of it and let the other half remain English. In other songs, they just let the whole song remain English (good chioce for me...)

In the wolf pack where Balto stops Niju from going to the bear clan. and Alue comes saying she saw caribou. A female wolf says "may be Niju is a fool" but in Thai it's "It's Niju who is a fool"...in Alue's voice.

blablabla too lazy to type more...

Bato 3

the song "everything flies" translated HORRIBLELY ...that Thai singer...sings like crap.

some character's voices are really loud while I can't even hear someone's voices.

At the begining. the word "Nome" appears,right?...right?...(this one I don't know) In thai, the font IS TERRIBLE!!! (I don't know how to explain)

blablabla yet again lazy

I watch the first film in soundtrack so I feel good ^^

They should not translate the songs *muttermutter

First Balto's translation and Finnish speak are the best. WQ and WoC are horrible. Balto's voice is different in every movie (that sucks and the guy, who did Balto's voice in the first is still alive and working with animation dubbing). Frankly, as I think 'bout it, every character has got different voices in each film.

There's some huge mistakes in WQ's translation. (I don't say anything about character's voices.... .) Wolverine was translated to "female wolf" for some reason...

I won't say anything about WoC. Finnish version is pure ear-killing.

Actually, the translation in french for WQ was very good, even the songs are as much beautiful as the original. But they didn't do a great job at all with WoC. Fortunately for us, none of the main characters had voice changes in the sequels. For example, Balto has the same voice in all the three films. For the moment, I only know of the french version that kept the same voice for Balto...
