So because of E3 06' I've found out that the PS3 will be a wopping $499 for a base like system, and $599 for the top of the line model! So do you think it is at all worth it?

I think I'll get one but I'll wait till the price does down.

ill buy it when it gets cheaper. thats alot of money for a game system! I dont think its really worth $599.

Sense I got a 360 im probably not going to not any time soon any way and the price I think is outrages! it's alot higher than the 360.

yea, seriously. the 360 was less than that. but i hear the PS3 is far superior to the 360. but the prices are still outrageous.

Eh but look at it this way, it's cheeper than some computers, and it has really good games.

For top-of-the-line Blu-Ray technology and all new enhanced features, improving in every way from the PS2, I'd say it's worth the price -- but that doesn't mean I'm gonna get it right now.

Lol thats what most people say. But I'm seeing that their is going to be a mad ruch for them, because some parents buy these thing just because they think it makes their kids love them. I'm expecting that we'll hear about people paying 2x the price for one! Like last year with the 360 some people were paying $1000 for them.

Did you hear about all those insane cases from eBay? HOLY FEWMETS!! People were buying up to 40 XBox 360's at a time!!

Yah it was crazy, then I found out there were some little problems. Like I said last year when you rush a system you'll have some problems. Same goes for games. Thats why I like for the people to not rush things. And I hope the PS3 has no major problems.

I'm not sure if I would buy it on the release day or not, because I am trying to save up for a MacBook Pro now that I got my server a few weeks ago. Maybe later I might buy it- so for now I will set my answer as undisclosed.

OH YEAH! I really do want one, but I'll have to wait til the price drops. Even if it is advance in every way, my mom would never let me get it for $600, even if I would buy it with my own money. Besides, I am saving my money for 2 reasons: To donate some to an aniamal shelter and to get a Razr or a Slvr!

Ive been a true gamer all my life, PS3 impressed me with NOTHING. I wont even take one for free. I have 360 and i am only getting Wii..400 is myt price limit..and the 500$ PS3 dosnt have anything tha is good...no wifi or n e thing.

Yah I love Playstation but I love cars more and I want to have a car and be able to drive it. You've seen the price of Gas, but I cant drop $600 like that. If only I worked at EB Games.
