The mother thing was a kinda important plot device..and the fighting...i really dont see how u could live without it.

While this movie was really good, when i rented it i was under the impression that it went along with the story of the game. Like, that movie 'Alone in Darkness' (or something like that) That originally was a video game.
The fighting part between Tifa and that big guy in the abondoned church, that was the most unigue fighting scene ever. The music was er, interesting. It looked like something you'd expect to see in the game.
At least we got to see Cloud use his Omnislash attack again. ^.^

It is supposed to go along with the game, and it really helps if the viewer has played Final Fantasy VII before watching the movie. It's gotta be one of the best I've seen. MUCH BETTER than Spirits Within.

Agreed Lakoswolf. I was acctually dissapointed by Spirits Within. Great graphics and all, but I perfer Advent Children over it.
My cousin couldn't understand the geostigma thing though.
