Yeah she howls, I didn't really think they did a very good job w/ it though as far as her howl goes....

Well, she's a pure-bred Husky, and some dog's howls differ from their ancestors. Since Balto is part wolf, he can howl more like a wolf. But, it could be better..............it sounds as if the actor tried to howl, but didn't do so great.................

I red from an animal behaviorist that writes in my local newspaper who said that dogs don't normally howl because it hurts their ears.

Well, dogs howl.. And huskies howl. Huskies howl alot. Dusty howled, and she's a husky. The other dogs on the sled team pretty much howled, too. I hated how the howl sounded like. xP Sure, her howl wouldn't be much like a wolf howl but it wouldn't sound -that- bad.
