Woohoo! First non-picture drawing!!!!

yay!!! This is the first picture I have ever drawn without a picture reference!!!! I used box-modeling, so some lines are still there I couldn't erase but overall it was easier than I expected. his name is Surf (he has a wave on his neck.

Also, can anyone show me the box model for a body?

Thanks Dusty, lol, it's not my first pic though, just the first one I have drawn without using a picture, lol

Well, in my opinion circle/shapes drawing (rather than square) works better...You should try that. It's really cute, though! ^__^ I'm so dam envious of all of you, your scanners don't leave GREEN MARKS! :roll:

That's what I hate, my drawings are even more messed up with that dumb green line! :lol:

Yeah, I was wondering if circles would be better or not....... how do you do it that way though?

And btw, I have all you guys to thanks for these drawings anyway........ you all encouraged me by posting up great drawings that made me want to do a picture on my own. Thanks everyone!!!!

Drawing with shaoes [circles meaning) is a very wise idea it helps build up your drawing and keep the anatomy correct and drawing is easier for most poeople wiht it. Though it does take some time to get use too.

(you probally have no idea what I'm talking about...) And many other people did, too. If you're ever going for a realistic looking wolf, search google images and type "wolf skull" and when you find a good picture practice drawing it. It may help you learn how the structure of the head is better. :wink:
