I know that they sometimes show Balto on this channel, but :
Quote: It was about the best Disney MOvies, and it talked about each of them and their first was ALice in WOnderland, the BALTO, then Mualn II.
Did they really say that Balto is a Disney film?? That would be an horribly big mistake.
Not to say that it's a bad thing, after all it needs all the popularity it can get.

Hmmm, lots of people mistake Balto for a Disney film, but would the Disney Channel actually say that?

Yeah, but when people want to buy Balto they might think Universal stole Balto from Disney and waste their time looking for a Balto that was made by Disney but never find one.
If Balto is being incorrectly advertised it might be just a little better than if Balto wasn't advertised at all.

Well, I think it's highly unlikely that would ever happen, but you can never be too cautious

Yes, it's probably that. After all it's not the first time they air it.

As far as are like my toughts at the beggining before I could see the Universal logo,I tought the same way cause Balto's Disney's property, because Simba(from the lion king) has the same eye marking as Balto, maybe that's why they think cause it's Disney's...hehe 1st time I tought that, lol.

I think some people at Disney are confused. Balto is not a Disney film (look at the opening credits when the first thing that they show is the Universal Studios logo), but it seems to be the only networks (Disney Channel and Toon Disney) that ever show Balto and Wolf Quest. I haven't seen Wings of Change on TV ever since it premiered on Cartoon Network last year, so who knows: perhaps they will get the rights to show WoC also? (Maybe if they show WoC on TV, it could get people interested in buying the films again? It's worth a shot, right?)
Even with the mistake, I think this is still a good thing. Balto is getting some more attention with the young generation (around the age of 6 to probably the teenage years) that were probably too young or not around to see Balto when it first premiered in 1995. Good publicity, whether it's false advertising or not, is always useful.
