In my opinion, Aleu didn't look so wolfish. The big long mark down her nose is a rare mark for wolves and Balto's marks are much more commen, Do you thing Aleu looks more wolfish than Balto?

As I've mentioned in other topics about Aleu, I think that she looks like a wolf, but not any more than her father.
The script has it wrong: I think they really didn't mean to say that she was "more wolf than Balto" as in she looks more wild, but that possibly her aura is more connected to the wolf and it shows more in her than her father. Hence the whole "the one who is wolf and does not know" thing that Nava mentioned.
Yes, both Balto and Aleu have the obvious wolfish look (markings, colors, additional scruffiness), but Balto tends to put his wolf heritage to the side (like what he did in the original film) - he was ashamed that he was teased for something that was out of his control . . . But because of the heritage that he once rejected, he was able to understand his instincts (that made him special) and lead the sled team back home to Nome, where the sick were helped and he was awarded by getting the girl.
Aleu, however, even when she was a pup, showed a stronger sense of the wolf heritage, even though she didn't know it. She just felt the urge to howl when she was excited, happy, and just playing around, being herself - she had no idea that she had the instincts of a wolf inside her at the time. But as soon as she learned about it, she felt angry, mainly because she wasn't told it sooner and because . . . I dunno, maybe never realized that she looked a lot like her dad? Later on, she learned to accept her destiny to live with the wolves - something that her father would never have been able to understand. Balto was tame, while his daughter was meant to be wild and free . . . living out her years as a true leader.
Gah, I rambled again . . .

As for Aleu's anger twoard Balto is She felt If Balto knew no Human would want Her. Why did He let Her go on Dreamming about being adopted by a Human?
I guess Balto didn't want to hurt her feelings at such a young age . . . I mean, I never thought about that, but the other pups never found out about the wolf part of them (from what we know of, anyway). Perhaps Balto thought this was the best thing to do for her safety: Allow her to continue to believe that she has a chance to find a human to take her in, and then one day, someone will. I guess it worked - the wilderness (and a wild wolf pack) took her in as their destined leader.

EDIT: Actually, I forgot something here. Balto did know that Aleu didn't have a chance of getting a human due to her wolf looks. He told Jenna himself at the end of the adoption scene.

I'm sure He was very proud(And more than a little sad)as He watched Aleu join The Wolf Clan as Leader.
Yeah, but why couldn't he just say so in the first place instead of when Aleu decided to accept her fate? I mean, he told Jenna that he too had a soft spot for puppies, and Boris knows of his thoughts of him letting Aleu go (Why else would would he have Boris as a babysitter?). Maybe the whole purpose of the journey (and maybe even the entire film) was for Balto to learn how to let go . . . he could do it with the others, and now it was time to let Aleu live her life.

Well Balto Himself said "It's just so hard to let My Baby go." Good point though i never thought about it being about Balto letting go.
Thanks. To tell the truth, I just thought of it when I last replied! ^__^
But, yes I do think that the actual meaning of Wolf Quest is not just discovering your own special talents and purpose in life, but learning to let go.
Even Jenna and Boris both told him what he had to do:
(from the actual script)
Jenna: Balto, each of our children have their own lives to live. It's our job to love them, and then...
Boris: LET GO!
Jenna: If we wait any longer, it will be harder for them to find homes. You know how humans have a soft spot for puppies.
Balto: Yeah. And so do I.
And Jenna spoke the truth (does anyone get the feeling that Jenna is the wiser of the two dogs?). The entire journey was truly just a plot by Aniu to not only reveal Aleu's destiny, but to allow Balto a chance to let her go and accept it. Yes, it was hard for him, but still even when Aleu was trying to speak some sense into her father, he continued to be protective over his wolfish baby.
(a couple of different scenes, again from the script)
Example One:
Balto: I don't like you being out here! You could slip and fall.
Aleu: Papa, you've got to stop worrying about me.
Example Two:
Balto: This has gone too far, Aleu, and it isn't our battle.
Aleu: But Papa, I saw caribou!
Balto: Look, this could get very dangerous. Despite my dreams, or anything else, I will not put you in any danger.
Aleu: But this isn't just about us, anymore, Papa. This is about something bigger. Don't you see? We're supposed to help them. I'm sorry, but whether I stay or go should be my decision.
Balto: That wind is a sign that winter's coming early. Your mother will be worried sick. We both leave in the morning.
Get my drift? You can hear Balto's overprotectiveness in his words. He really cares for his daughter, and wishes for nothing bad to happen to her. But his weakness is learning to let go, so why not have him go on a journey in which he has no choice but to let go? I mean, if he originally was the new leader that Nava thought Aniu was talking about, he would have to leave Aleu either way, even when she was left to protect Nava, he remained worried but stayed strong . . .
(*sigh* again from the script)
Aleu: Yes! You go on with the rest of the pack! I'll get Nava!
Balto: Be careful, Aleu.
Enough said. In the end, Nava realized his mistake, Aleu discovered her true purpose in life, and Balto finally let go. It was something out of his control. Even Aleu knew where he belonged: back on Nome with Jenna.
I rest my case.

But weren't the pups chewing Boris up when he said. "LET GO!"?
