on the shout box, when you want to add a link to your message, there's already the http code inside the box. usually, when i go to add a link to my message, i copy the entire url address and paste it into the bar. the provided "http" throws off the link. is there any way to remove it?

Well...just press into the box after the http:// and backspace to get rid of it then paste your link in there and it should work.

Pirkka: i know that, but inside that box under the text box is "http://", and it throws off a link if you paste one in there. i was wondering if it was possible to remove the "http://".

Loz: it's very easy to forget to do that sometimes. it would be easier if it was removed.

I did put this for a good reason : to show that you must put a real link there...Else, I'm sure many people would add links from their hard drives or things like that...Or forget to put the "http://" in their links.
It only takes two seconds to remove this : click in it, CTRL + A, and DEL. Or select it, and paste your link.

If other people think the same way, I may remove it though.

is there anyway you could remove it, but still say somewhere on the page that the only links that are accepted are http links?

A better idea could be when you click in the box to put a link in the Http:// deletes itself.

The http://link doesn't bother me that much,I just pay it no mind.

that would be a pretty good idea. it would let us know what kind of link to paste, and it would help prevent the links from messing up.

No I don't think you're not banned. Try connect on the site before posting on the shout boxes.

If you're saying that I have to type Dusty's Guy in the white box,along with my password in the white box next to it,I've done that about 4 times without any avail.
