I just remembered this When I read White Fang I decited to start writing an alternet ending it's not done but based on the reaction I get I'll decide if I go on.
Scott took White Fang back to the north, where White fang later had eleven healthy pups with another wolf; she was snow-white and a beautiful and stunning wolf at that. She found a hole by a tree where she stayed with the small pups. Then one day White fang didn’t come back with fresh meat, she went out to look for him and found nothing but trash littered about the place where he time to time slept. It was true White Fang had gone with his master to San Francisco, leaving the she-wolf and their pups, but lucky for her the pups were old enough to be left alone. The first famine hit hard, the she-wolf knew she had to get meat for not only the pups but also for her for she would die leaving the pups parentless and they too would die. The pups started to sleep more and did not play or romp about like they did before. Then as the she wolf was bringing a rabbit there it stood a gigantic and round Bull Moose, she left the dead rabbit and glided along the snow unnoticed by the moose. The she-wolf got close enough to see the rustled-up fur where smaller animals had tried to attack his side, and she knew exactly where to bite, and with the speed of a cheetah the she-wolf sprang at the Bull Moose and sunk her teeth into his neck, and jumped off of him so fast he couldn’t have avoided it if he saw her and with that he fell down dead.
The Famine was over but not all survived, only eight pups survived, five male, three female. But what was astonishing was that the runt of the pups and he like his mother he was white but not the white she had for his white was darker, and like his father he was interested in the wall of light. He would craw to the light just to get pulled back by his mother for he was too young to go out into the wild. The next day was the day the dogs learned about the wild not by the she-wolf but by venturing away from the den. The she-wolf was out getting meat when the pups decided to see the wall of light and when they got past the wall they found warmth much like when the she-wolf would lie down with them. They walked around the tree than started to chase each other until they all lost their footing a tumbled down a rather small hill. This was a hurt to them and they learned what hurt was. They started to look a round until they came to a stream and walked in it and were drenched and started to get carried away with the current and then the stream thinned out. They soon found out they were not out of danger because there was a mountain lion starring at them and it had one thing on its mind “kill” and with that the pups cried for the she-wolf, thou she wasn’t there in time to save one of the male pups, she did save the rest of them. With one leap she barely missed the mountain lion’s shank and instead she heard a crunch of a bone, the mountain lion fled but the she-wolf did not dare leave her young alone in the wild, not at their age.
