I think the best add-on IMO would be to allow the artist to post a description for their own pictures.

Yes agreed..Rating again yes..you're right GreyKitty..because if smeone makes a small "joke" cause will rate a small rating,like 1,2,3,4lol..then the posesor of the gallery won't be happy to see small ratings on his/her gallery,then he/she won't send fan arts anymore..so Rating very bad option.

I know, I have a whole list of things to change in the fan art system.
But for allowing this, I'll have to change the whole system. So you'll have to wait.

No rating for obvious reasons. As for the page views, this is not really something accurate : the author of the gallery could very well refresh his page to increase the number, and then would say "wow, my gallery is popular". It would be possible in a way to prevent this, but this would become a very complicated thing to program and it would take a lot of space on the database for not a really useful thing.

i agree totally! there's been so many times when i've wanted to tell my thoughts on my pics, but haven't been able to. regarding what you just said, steet, do you mean that this is a future possibility? cuz that'd be soo cool.

I know, most of these would be good ideas, but the fact that there are some people who just can't control themselves, and rates 1's for everyone, or refresh their page a billion times. Just not going to work.

I said yes, but I don't know when I'll have time to do something like that.
The problem is that people will want to edit the descriptions, and it seems obvious that I won't have time to do this manually if people have to send emails to ask for this change.
So...I need to change the system.

Ha this was suggested on my last birthday but I don't think its a good idea because some people might get mad they don't get a rating or a little sad when someone gives a low rating.
