i was looking at the memberlist, and i've noticed that there are a lot of members that have no posts at all. i'm not sure if this is wasting space or anything, but wouldn't it be a good idea to delete some of their accounts, in case it does take up room? if there is already a topic like this, then it may be locked.

EDIT: another thing i've noticed it that there was another administrator (i didn't know that there was another one) that hasn't been on for awhile either. the zero-posters aren't all staff members, but still, there are way to many zero-posters in my opinion.

Ye there is a lot of those...who just write in and check the forum then think that it's not good place and disappears...

that's my point. i think that we should delete their accounts in order to save space for more active members.

I agree and since you don't need an account to view the forums there's no point in keeping members who never post. Free up the screen name so someone else can use it.

I don't see why, unless maybe if it had a poll, either the Administrator says yes prune the forum or no. Then basically the whole topic is done. If it were stickied then it'd just turn into another "good idea, let's do that" topic. Most of the posts here already give enough valid evidence of the benefit of forum pruning.

Well I know a few people (french people especially) that read the english forums, and registered to be able to see which topics have new messages. (red paws)
GamesOfLight is french, and he's admin, to be able to make changes in case of emergency. But he doesn't speak english very well, so he doesn't post here.

well, if you do know those people, then you wouldn't have to delete them. i only suggested this so that there would be more screennames available, instead of putting numbers or asterisks next to the name. they really don't have a point, in my opinion.

and this doesn't have to be done; it's entirely up to steet. this was just a suggestion to help clean up the forum a little bit.
