not too long ago, i got back from the doctor's office after a physical, and he gave me some bad news. he said that i had a few problems with eating, and if i lost any more weight, that i could get anarexic. he says that my weight and height are supposed to be connected somehow, and i'm way too skinny for my height. i'm really scared, and my friends are too...what if i die from this?

You're not kidding are you?,my god Kari,that's absolutely horrible to hear that,and you're starting to get me scared,not for my sake,but for your sake.

xD..don't worry..you most likely wont die..my friend has been anorexic for a year..and she's not dead..but she was in the hospital for a while..but if you don't feel like eating..then just drink this thing called Boost..it helps you gain weight..and it tastes really good..my friends dad had to take it before he died..cause he had cancer and he couldn't eat anything for some reason..but yeah you should try it..my brother and my friends brother and my friends sister take it..

Why don't you eat????? Is this something you purposly do??? Pff....atleast you are loosing wieght, but this is still a problem...-_- I think my problem is eating too many peanutbutter chocolate cookies...>< But seriously, do you just not eat on purpouse?

...ok, i'll be honest. yes, i haven't been eating on purpose, because i used to weigh 130 pounds, and i hated being that weight. so, i stopped eating for awhile, but i didn't think of the consequences. after i had lost about 10 pounds, i thought i was ok, so i tried to eat, but everytime i did, my stomach felt like it was about to burst...so i had no choice but to continue to stop eating, or eat very little. so, i kept losing weight, and it's getting worse...

but thank you all for your concern...i've been trying to eat a little more and deal with the pain, and i've gained back 3 pounds so far, but i'm still on the brink of getting anarexia.

i'm sorry Dusty...but you don't have to feel sorry for me. it's my fault anyway...i shouldn't have worried about my weight.

Meh, you shouldn't seriously worry about your weight. Eat three rounded meals a day (no crap- 'Actual' food) and make sure to keep yourself self-sustained.

I don't personally care about what I weigh; 104.3lbs - 6'1" @ age 17... but I keep myself in good shape and eat too many salads ... lol.

Really you shouldn't worry. It only will bother you more than you really want it to. Anorexia is not what any person should want to obtain... it is only meant to inflict pain on yourself and others around you. (like a cry out for attention- because that is basically what anorexia is)

Well, I doubt very seriously that your gonna die. when I was getting chemo, I had DRASTIC apatite swings. I am 6ft 1inch tall, and I weigh 130 pounds. I don't think that's too normal, lol. So no, your gonna be fine. my advise, if you like salads and fruits and vegies, eat them. Nothing will make you more healthier, and that's a fact!

i will DF. i've been doing a little bit better...i've gained back a few pounds like i said before. i guess that reason i stopped eating was because i was a bit shorter, and weighed so much more then normal. i didn't like my weight, so i stopped. now i weight a little less then 106 pounds, and i'm 5 feet, 7 inches tall.

no no no! he said your weight fits your height just fine. Stop mixing things around to get attention. He never said anything about you getting anarexcic! I was there, so I know. He said if you wanted to become **** pounds then that would be fine. But never did he say you were gonna be anarexic!

(I'm not saying the weight she wanted to be. )
