Ok so me and My friend have been working on a Balto four movie scince Balto three came out 
New Charaters: Ginger(Dusty's sister) Trey(Kodi's teamate) Falcon(Balto's brother) Kone, Jone, Morris (The new trio, Steele's new friends)
Shadow( Balto's adopted daughter a flat-coated retriver) Jordan(Dusty's best friend) Ava (Steele's mate) and Bella(Boris's NEW AND IMPROVED GIRLFRIEND)
Old charaters: Balto(DUH), Jenna, Kodi, Dusty, Dingo(I guess he's returning, I mean he was in WQ), Steele, Star, Kaltag, Nikkie, Kirby, Ralph, Alue(in puppy form), Saba(In puppy form), and the sheepdog from B1.
Plot: Steele has returned and he's back for two things his gollden coller and his revenge, join Balto, Jenna, Kodi, Dusty, Shadow,Falcon and there friends in this thrilling adventure

sounds fun because me too lazy to make out B4 and so on...even there is...a lot of new versions from B4 I have no idea which one could be best...one Animated is even coming...sounds fun to see what sort of fanfic this would be...

Sounds interesting. I may as well share a theory, most likely correct, on the Golden Collar with you!
Steele just can't demand for the Golden Collar to be returned to him. My upcoming fanfic is based on this... in a way. A sled team has to compete in the Championship racing season and win for the team leader to receive the Golden Collar... whether Steele could run away with it or not depends. But Kodi, Balto and the others would probably have to win the Rookie and Intermediate seasons to qualify, as for Steele he would be let straight back in since that was the last rank he was in.
This is the problem with a lot of fanfic/animations - when Steele runs away they assume he would of run with the Collar, but it most likely would have been stripped from him.

Your ideas are quite good, although I prefer something more epic (with more adventure, magic, other animal species...) and comedy stiled.
