ok, im pretty sure this topic doesn't exsist already, so here's a simple question, so you belive in destiny, as in something was or is meant to happen? some people only belive when it only proves to be good, but not bad, but personaly, i belive in fate completly

Ok, I'll be the first to post! But this may cause a fight, just to note you on that.

Well, I do believe in fate, kind of destiny. I believe things are planned in your life, and you can't really control them. This is MY belief, and anyone who's gonna post here, don't get all "your wrong and I'm right!" on me. I believe if we die, it was our time...I believe that most people are meant to be together, ( ) though alot of times people who aren't meant to be get stuck together. Not that this has anything to do with it, but in my opinion, when people who marry eachother start to argue, I believe they should do everything they can to work it out. And if it can't be done, then they could just get "un-married". But I don't get why people who go through all the "trouble" of getting married, get divorced! That must mean their marraige means nothing!

Well, that's a different story, and I'll shut up about it...

ok here goes...

I believe that our life has a purpose and we have free will at the same time. (I know it sounds crazy) I think that when we die (if it was our time) we have fulfilled whatever purpose that we had on this earth weather we know what it is or not.

,And if we don't were ghosts. lol jk

I believe in fate -- it gives me a reason to tell why all these bad things always happen to me. ^^/

I beleve in in both, but everyone can change there own fate becuase what you do in life can determan what your fate is.

For EX lets say your were in the war you could choose to fight and probably not live or run and try to stay alive those are to diffrent destinys one to die one to live.

everyone has a destiny if you didn't you wouldn't be on this earth to begin with so you ether run away from both fate and destiny or embrass it with all your strangth, this is your choice and only you can choose to embrass it or run from it.

I believe in destiny/fait...whatever you may call it I do believe our lives have been paved already for us by a greater being. It's like a road...There'll be occasional crossroads(Choices in life) but once you pick one, there'll be something waiting in store.

Hmm..I believe that our lives are mapped out in some way or another. Life is full of coincidences and some of them seem to happen as if someone else has made them to be. Ack, confusing sentence. x)
Although I don't think that every little thing which happens in our lives are meant to happen.. gah, who knows.

I do not believe that everything is predestined or in destiny. Actually, I don't believe in it at all. Things happen. The way I believe, God did not set all events in stone, but he has a purpose for us. If you know what I mean.

I believe in fate and destiny, but I don't think that it is all set out for us solid as stone. I think that we do have some sort of control over our fate.
Let's say that a rabbit is heading for its burrow. There's two routes to the burrow, both different. If the rabbit say, took the route on the right, it might encounter a fox. Maybe if it took the one on the left, it might get home safely. It doesn't know which is safer, so it's fate all comes down to luck and which route it follows.
Destiny is set out for us, but we can choose which path we take, and our destiny will change according to that path.

I don't believe in destiny or maybe it's just that I don't want to believe in destiny. I like to feel like the choices I make in my life matter. Otherwise, the idea of fate makes me feel like a puppet.
