I'm mainly a trumpet player, and a euphonium player on the side. I also did a little sax for a while, but I stopped to refocus on my trumpet. I play jazz and orchestral trumpet. I actually haven't seriously played the euphonium for over a year, so right now I'm pretty much just a trumpet player. I'm okay, I'm 4th trumpet in the jazz band at my school for next year, and I'm the only trumpet in orchestra this year (though that's cause no one else would do it.) My rang totaly sucks though, I'm barley reaching to a D above the staff, and my improve, it's horribly rusty. My tone is fair at best, and I really need work on my intonation. For a sophmore in highschool, I really should be a lot better. Of course this is coming from a guy who gets to play with a trumpet player going to CU for his masters in jazz trumpet, so yeah. . . . .

My degree is in Oboe/English horn.
I also play (for fun) piano, guitar, recorders, shakuhachi, Native flute, di-tzu, shenai, duduk, ocarina, and a few others. I also played piccolo and xylophone/pit percussion in marching band back in the day. And I was in choir too...

#) Instrument - Various Types
1) Piano - Organ/ Acoustic/ Baby Grand
2) Saxophone - Alto
3) Guitar - Acoustic
EDIT: The only reason I played saxophone was because i used to be in the high school marching band ... not to my liking too much

Wow, your an oboest, okay, I bow down, I'm unworthy. I have high respect for anyone who plays the oboe or basson, so yeah, you rock!

pretty cool instruments, guys. i've been playing the cough cough TRUMPET for about 3 years now, and i'm getting pretty tired of it. girls aren't supposed to play brass, or even be in band!
and about electric guitar...i can play pretty well, but i don't hold the guitar right somehow...oh well, i love playing it, and i'm trying to learn more songs and become better.
i also have a keyboard, and i play that pretty well on my own. it has light-up keys (when you set them to glow) and they show you how to play certain songs with one note at a time. it has 100 songs on it, and most of them are pretty popular songs. i'm doing really well without the lights now.
and what's more fun than beating a drum with a stick?! i can't technically play percussion, but i can still beat it with a stick.

Wait... PLEASE tell me that you're trying to be funny!
And heehee, thank you Jazzy. It makes me feel warm and fuzzy to hear appreciation for our instrument!
