I just finished watching Bambi 2 for the first time, and I got to thinking. Who else besides me is fed up the Disney gig of thinking the person is dead and then two minutes after that, they wake up?

It's still annoying to me as well. It makes the moment so cheesy and somewhat embarrasing. I just wish they'd die. Near-deaths, I can understand. But when someone dies, then lives again for some asinine reason (Like Aslan from Chronicles of Narnia), then it's very pitiful.

I find it very annoying indeed.

 Okay, about Aslan, it was in the book and it's based on the Bible! I am very touchy about that. It was meant that he come back to life. The whole story is based on the Bible!!!1

XD, Well to me it's not asinine, but I guess it is for you. Though the movie made it somewhat embarrassing and longwinded. But then it explains that the reason Aslan reincarnated was because he sacrificed himself, and he was innocent, so death would go backwards, Xp, I do feel however there could have been a more creative reason.

Also, as mentioned the books/movies have a religious background and so people may be touchy with it.

BTW I am Christian too but I respect people's right of opinion. Suka is just direct that's all.

Ok ok, calm down, I agree with you but aproach the subject at a more subtle rate. The movie was based on the Bible, and so it was an act of symbolism Suka. I think that there is room for an exeption in that area since C.S. Lewis didn't try to dramatize things, it just happened that way :)

Tsk-tsk!!

You believe what you will; and I'll do the same. Let's not let turn this wonderful conversation into a comeback competition.

It wasn't so much as Aslan himself comming back to life. Somehow, I just knew he'd live in the end. But as Lit said, I think there should've been a more creative, if not more detailed, explanation for what just happened. In my view, it was the only poorly depicted scene in the entire movie.

Oh, no!! I wasn't talking to you in particular, Dreaming Wolf. lol. I'm just saying that when Aslan came back to life, the reason he gave us was so vague, it took me a long while to understand what went on. And when I finally DID understand, it still didn't make all that sense....

We need him exploding out of a rock and saying "I live!!!"

Wait he did >_> Oh, no wonder it made no sense.

It made sense to me, but it could have been more interesting. All of the sense get's put in the next few things he says and they are off unfreezing everyone right after. I also expected Lucy and Susan to have had some more dramatic emotions. All they did was pull and nuzzle his fur. WHen he died and.... when he came back.

Really? I'm not even christian, and I understood it...(not that religion has anything to do with it...)My friend who is christian told me it was supposed to be like, based on Christianity, and that almost got me to stop liking it.....But it's awsome...^^

Now, as for Bambi 2, the part where his dad thought he was dead was stupid, because it was boring...In my opinion...
