Hey guys,
I have been looking around but I cant really find any tutorials on how to make 2d management games ones which you dont control a "character" directly such has hotel tycoon or game dev tycoon. I know the 2d tools for unity just came out so I may need to give it some time but there was also 2d toolkit and things like that.
Anyone have any advice?
thanks

That's not bad at all. But what about the business game? Back in the day, my computer used to crash all the time when it first appeared, so I would switch to another game. It's great to be able to play this game again after all these years! I also like the new features and innovations that have been added to the modern version of the game. Previously, it was only the classic game that was a little boring at times.

Whatever engine you'll continue to use, and actually finish all your gameplay code and publish your game is the best engine.

Nothing about your design is so intensive that it requires a specialized engine. Unity, Unreal, Godot are all mainstream and recommended. Unity is C# and historically has the largest breadth of tutorials, assets, support. But maybe you'll like Unreal's blueprints and work better with that.

All of them are free to start with and have deals where you can do a % of sales if the game becomes big enough for them to bother.
