Steete I applaude you.
I think that it's time that the fans of these shows start dictating what is made, and not neccesarily the profit.
To be sure, the petitions products would not generate the huge profit that say Star Wars Action figures do, but I would buy them.
I write Fan Fics and I'm constantly referencing the DVD for the looks of the characters for the covers, and I would like to have a figurine or something that I could sit down and draw. I draw it on paper first so that then I can reference that and convert it to digital format (put it into the computer, anything that I can put on paper I can reproduce in MS Paint) I would love to have a figurine or something that I could sit down on a table and draw.
As for the accusation (and that's what I think of what that crap on that board as, an accusation) that we take to much time in this, or are devoted to a useless cause, I say this:
I AM DEVOTED!
Am I alone? (Stupid question, I know that Steete is with me!)
I write my stories for at least four hours a day, and I do this for myself, yeah, but more for my readers, the fans out there.
Nothing makes me feel better than writing a story and then getting an E-mail or a post on the boards that says that it was great, or even that it was horrible. I love input, it tells me what the people want, and then I try to deliver it.
I love this, it gives me a real sense of pleasure.
I have written 8 stories, and not one of them is under a hundred pages. I spend huge amounts of time on them proofreading them, correcting them, writing them!
It all makes it worth it, when I get a post like this from some one,
I think that was great, the suspense was awesome, this SCREAMS sequel. WRITE ANOTHER!

I am kind of dissapointed that I and a handful of others, seem to be the only ones concerned about this.
Steete is my friend and I'd hope that he is all of yours too. We should have all flocked to that site that the "war" took place on, and defended him.
I apologize Steete for not getting this on the site before she closed the topic, I should have said something the second that I read the stupid post.
I posted this here, just to let ya know that I'm behind you 100% (and I'm not some mindless "Steet follower" LOL) (that has to bet the stupidist thing I have EVER heard by the way) I joined in this because I believe in it.

Of course, I am also responsible of that war, and I'm not happy for that, but I still think I had no choice but to answer to vesta's aggressive comments.
