Here are some things that I have figured out or have heard about Harry Potter 7....
1. Rowling is aiming for 7/7/07 as the release date.
2.The last chapter was written back in '99. For now, the last word in the book is 'scar'
3.Ravenclaw will have their 'day'...
4.Aunt Petunia has never performed magic, and never will, but there's more to her than meets the eye; the letter left with Harry on the doorstep was not the first one Dumbledore sent Petunia
5.The Sorting Hat is not a horcrux, but there's more to it than what we've read in the first books
6.There is significance to the fact that Harry has his mother's eyes
7.The book will contain a lot of the back story of the Potters
Those are the 7(coincident) things that are likely to happen in the 7th book that I have found out....
Does anyone else have any more facts or likely happenings or theories about the 7th Harry Potter book?

I have a theory that Harry might be killed in the 7th book.
See i think that that night when harry's parents were killed then voldemort tried to kill him. Well i think that voldemort wasn't trying to kill harry. He was setting him as a Horcrux. We found out that you have to kill someone before you can create a Horcrux. I think that the fact that voldemort was almost killed was that there may be some limit to how many horcurx's you can make OR it didn't go as he thought it would.
So in order for Voldemort to be killed, all of the horcrux's have to be destroyed. I think harry may have to sacrifice himself in order for voldemort to get finished.

Everyone's dying. JK Rowling's just putting everyone's names into a hat, then randomly selecting who gets to "check out". **spoiler** Dumbledore's dead, and Snape's long gone. **end spoiler** I'm curious to know how this whole mess is going to be straightened out.

The website stated that Harry may return to Hogwarts.
*Ron, Hermoine, and Harry will all attend Fluer and Bill's wedding
*Ron and Hermoine will stay with Harry wheter it be at Hogwarts or elsewhere
*It is a possibility that one or all of the trio may die (no duh, but anyways)

ok, i love rumors (about books, at least!) and the thought that harry might die crossed my mind. it would not surprise me at all if rowling kills him off. BUT- i ran this theory by my dad, and he said it is very unlikely that harry will die. not only will rowling have lots of angry fans, but it goes against the unwritten laws and traditions of heroes in the fictional world. true, there is the "ultimate sacrifice" component, but that's kind of a no-no in childrens' fiction. (though some may say that harry potter is not "children's fiction", but think about it, it really is...) trust me, my dad knows about this kind of stuff. his personal theory is that harry will, at the end, become a defense against the dark arts teacher @ hogwarts.
