I've taken some passages of the music Balto 3, which I personally love.
I did that since a long time, even before the release in the US, but I thought that you may be interested in them now...
I won't put them on the site, because I fear for the bandwidth, but people here are allowed to download them. Too bad we can't remove the voices...
I have more, but as I said, I fear for the bandwidth. If many people are interested, I may make a group list and send them to you by email.
EDIT : I have removed the links to my site, instead download them here :

Strange that (number 1)... i thought that timduru's site was in a dedicated server, so bandwith is not a problem for both (you and tim) ... If i can help, i have a lot of bandwidth in my server, if you need i give you some. steetboris wrote: I won't put them on the site, because I fear for the bandwidth, but people here are allowed to download them. Strange that (number 2)... in that song is just put the central speaker volume at O and you get no voices, but you can't use the english track for that! try using the freench track

Quote: i thought that timduru's site was in a dedicated server, so bandwith is not a problem for both (you and tim) ... Yes, a dedicated server which he is paying, but they all have some limits don't they? Hits or bandwith? I think I'll have to ask him that question again. Quote: If i can help, i have a lot of bandwidth in my server, if you need i give you some. Thanks for the offer, the other reason I don't like too much putting mp3 is because mp3 are often not legal, and I really wouldn't want timduru to have his server closed because of that...So if it's not a problem for you, then it could be great! I would like to put the OST for the original Balto on the site, but the reason I don't is the bandwith and legality reasons... That is really interesting, because I'm not able to do that (I don't have a 5.1 system or anything like that), and when I try to rip the soundrack the voices are mixed. Is it possible that you record a sample without the voices?

How did you know, im a big fan of the tim site, i download a lot of its videos and images, he must have a lot of bandwidth. Its is not a problem for me (and im also very interested in that mp3) so, enter in contact with me for i setup a accont for you use, and don't worry for bandwidth, i can easly suport 3 gb of trafic in a day, i just make one request: the mp3 must be encoded in 192k, ok? You don't need a 5.1 system, you just need a program that can setup the volumes of each speaker of the movie. I don't know because the macrovision issue(copy protection issue) if it easy or hard to do it in the pc, but i will search in the net to see if it is possble.

Yes, but it's not the same when 1 or 2 people download a file, and 1000 visitors download the same file, or even a smaller one...
Anyway, thanks for the ftp!
For the 192 kbps, well they are not all in 192...is it really a problem? Unless I rerip them, which would take too much time...To me there is not a huge difference between the two bitrates, especially when they are not taken from an audio cd. The Balto soundtrack I've uploaded is in 192 kbps though (which is better than Fluke's ones) If it's for another reason than the quality, then just delete the balto 3 directory.

Isnot a big problem but...
When you encode a cd in less than 192k, for a normal ear, you don´t hear so much diference, but for who is techinician, know that bitrates lower that 192 destroy sounds in the music in high frequency, so, if you can, re-encode it, i will be thankful if you can do it.
(Remeber, the 192k asking is a SUGESTION not an OBLIGATION)

Ok, I thought it was that. You're not the only one, I know of a french fan (Gamesoflight) who is just like you on that point (He's also the one who gave me the Balto soundtrack in 192 kbps...)
I've got the authorization from timduru to put a link to the account, as long as I don't direct link to the mp3s. So I think I'm gonna add a link to these musics on the site itself at the next update.
However, considering the number of visitors on my site, you'll just have to tell me if it break your bandwith limit...Even 3GB might not be enough the first days, but we'll see...
So to everyone here, you'll find the Balto and Balto 3 soundtrack here :
http://balto.thpe.net/balto/
http://balto.thpe.net/balto3/
Enjoy!
EDIT : BTW, it has nothing to do with this but I just wanted to say that I will open "The Lion King Source" very soon...With automatic translations for most of the content, but I will never be able to open it otherwise.

With voices, unfortunately.
But you're right Thiago, there must be a way to remove the voices, because I changed things in the configuration of my dvd player software, and I've been able to move the voices from center to left (but still not removing them) Since they are separate, there must be a way to remove them totally...I will look into that, but...later
