Mods, PLEASE don't lock this! Ok, the people who did the voices for the characters in Bambi 2 were cast to sound EXACTLY like they did in the original! And they also used some of the same music, just one of the many axamples is when it shows the logo for Bambi 2, it hums the theme song for the original Bambi. And one more is that the animation is similar.

Yes, they did compose the same music as they had in the original. They also tried to match up the voices as best as possible! That's Disney for you!

The first two, I can relate. But I was surprised that Disney wanted to animation style to be done the same -- it's not like that for most sequals?

In Bambi(1942)Bambi's father was voiced by Fred Shields,in Bambi 2 Bambi's father was voiced by Patrick Stewart, who we know to portray Captain Jean-Luc Picard on Star Trek:TNG.

Ah yeah, love Patrick Stewart. He's a really great actor. And also Alexander Gould, the kid who VA'd Nemo in FN played Bambi. He was good enough, I'll say.

Yea, I knew he played Nemo! I thought that was interesting...

That is not true, though. If Bambi 2 started where the first movie really did leave off, Bambi and Faline would be grown up with their twin fawns from the ending . . . . (thus making a "typical Disney sequel")

But I understand what you really mean. Yes, it started off after Bambi's mother was killed and the Great Prince took him in. Nice touch, especially since it's perfect for "flashback" movies like this.
