If you have the original disks from Steam or from a retailing market (i.e. Software Store) , they should be preformatted with an autorun that will automatically start upon popping the disk into the computer. If the disk doesn't start up after inserting the disk, open the Start Menu, click Run, and type whatever drive you disk is installed on (i.e. "D:/")- without quotes. Or you can open My Computer and click on the disk drive from there to begin.

CS is just ok.... there are better Games than that one... in its age.. and maybe a bit today it is still good.. but nothing else than that....
its out of date graphics, the immature and nasty people, heck, even kicking you if yo uare a newb.
Maybe the only thing that stands for CS is its easy and simple way of wagging a ... somewhat (yes i said somewhat because it doesnt have much of tactical) Tactically realistic Game)
anyways.. good for when you have somewhat of a experience in Online FPS

Counter-Strike: Source's graphics are actually pretty good (well...most PC games have farily decent graphics compared to the console systems). What I like about CS: Source is that it was designed with the Half Life 2 engine and was basically ported off the exact running systems. The only thing I don't like about it is that it was developed by Steam *dies*...
BOOM headshot! (all I hear in online servers on CS: Source )

but be real... every single CS is a exact copy of the other... look i do play the game, and its decent... but they should have added new objectives or extras, and it would be even better if people who play on it was less... erghm... Apathic
playing with people who will ban you just because of not being on the country in wich the server play... or just because you arent plain good for their skills, they ban you...
still CS is a really good game, and i would wish to someday play it with you guys and gals.

The Main Problem in CS is cheats...there is cheaters A LOT
But also Grey Wolf said it wrong...None will ban you from their servers...only if THEY DONT want to get anyone in there...or there is PCW (when someone forget to add PW happens this) or then Clan training.
I use Name Player and play like ^^ but none ever ban me because of it...it's the PING/Latency that is mind...if you got Latency 300 none want you to play and kick away...because of Lag...
