Yeah, using a local service can be a good idea. If you call your friend for towing, it might not go smoothly. either of cars can end up damaged in the process, and it's not always the damage you can see with your own eyes. It could be microcracks in body, overheated liquid and alignment problems. So if you want to risk it, at least check the towing capacity here https://towingcap.com/honda/pilot/2010/ and if it shows full capacity just... don't. Please.
