This movie is soo moving really upsting and true it's about the hulocost.


We had too watch this in gredes 7,8 and 9 I hated watching it but we had too if you watch it you'll know why.

ps It's not that I hate it oh I can't explaine you'll have too see it to know what i'm talking about. This is one of Steven Spielberg's movies it's wourth seing.

Wow. They made you watch that movie IN SCHOOL?!?!

Well, it is a moving story. I'm so glad it's in black and white though...The ending was so sad. I could only bear to watch it once.

The only color part is the little girls dress whitch is bright red but she gets burned it was so sad.

I know. At first, I was kinda wondering why they did that. But I then figred it out. It was awful!!

This movie is my heritage, it's what happened. Don't ever let anyone tell you it never happened!

I'm Jewish, and when I was in germany (On an airforce base) our landlord was an ex SS driver! He never guessed what we really were, and the funny thing was that on one hand he loved us very much, and yet he constantly said that jews and czechs were subhuman pygmies! Talk about ironic, huh?

Thats not right for him to say that because what happaned back then would be anyones worst nightmare and for those who went through it I feel for them and they didn't desserve it, the really sad thing about it was the only was of escape was dying to be free. thats sad but im happy too hear to that some made it out.

I went to the holocost musseum for a grade 9 thing and it was so interessting if you get a chance go there and see for your self.

Well I was there i saw a jewish kid about my age getting beetin up by some other teens so I went in and helped but he looked at me and was about too say thank you but it turned into you disscuting germen i hate you and he started hitting me and slaming me to the floor and I said stop but he said you didn't stop when we were sceaming in pain he was still hitting me then his friends joined in and I did nothing I took the beating for my punishment for what happand even though I wasn't apart of the holocost I just let him and the others hit me, yes it hurt like hell, I was badly injerd I had cuts, bruses, my arm got broken, my leg was badly fractsherd I had to were a cast for soo long, longer then useaull after it was over and i was full of blood and in lots of pain, so I can't imagin all the pain that the jewish people sufferd that day, someone had too help me walk too the school bus after the field trip was over but before i walked out the door the same kid throo like a big rock or something heavy at me and said never come back you disscuting germen from on the balcony, my friend helped me up after it hit me and fell to the floor and he was about too say something mean but I said don't, he looked at me wired and then we got on the school bus and went back too school.

The holocost musseum is a school and very interessting, it's a good thing that the teacher stoped it because they would have killed me because im german and Kelev if you hate me I understand.


ps don't make fun of what happand it's not right so plesae no one make any jokes about what happand because it was a the worst nightmare anyone could go through so please don't.

Not all germans are like that; The Nazis killed germans too. Imagine that!! Turning against your own people!! Well, I'm terribly sorry for what happened to you. I guess people are just so easily sparked off in an environment like that.

I dunno if this was in the museum, but did you see all those shoes? The shoes that the Jews had to take off before entering the gas chamber? Oh my. In 8th grade, we read the Diary of Ann Frank...and there was a subsection about it. It was horrible!!!!

Yes i did and the very tools for toturing everthing and the person who was talking to us about it was a surviver and when he looked at me he freaked he was screaming why is his kind here and the securesty was called because he freaked out over seeing me he was swearing at me it was horrible.

What was the name of the worst doc of the holo cost? because they had his lab coat they had everthing it was interesting and verysad.

I really hope Kelev doesn't hate me but I can understand why if she did.

I've forgiven our landlord anyway. He was a good man, but was deluded into believing a lie that Hitler made up. You see, the germans as a whole thought that Jews controled all the money in the world, and after world war 1 the nation was in a deppression. So anti semitisim rose it's ugly head, and that's how things took off for world war 2.

I have yet to see the yadvashem memorial, and the others, but I intend to go as soon as I move there. (In Israel I mean.)

If you have any questions about the shoah (holocoust), please ask, I like to let people know about what really happened. Oh and the doctor was really terrible, but I can't remember how to spell his name.

My teacher had our class watch in at the beginning of this year. But then again, I'm a Junior in high school too, so it's different than if I were in 7th grade. Unfortunately, I'm in one of the two states that doesn't extensively cover the Holocaust.

That's a shame that you live in a place that will not cover such an important part of history. The more people ignore history, the more likely they'll do it again.

Watched it 8th grade...my god its depressing. Great movie though.
