Does anyone know about this game? I love it, but it's insanely hard and some parts are a little freaky. I have to use a Gameshark to get past the third level, and I can't play the last 5 levels becuase they just creep me out.
For the last five levels, you have to go inside this creepy alien queen and kill it by destoying it's heart. Yeah. Nightmare bonanza. But it is still a beautiful game with great graphics and music good enough to make a movie.

Something that I really like about the game is the music and the way it's thought out. For example, the 3 Hanging Waters bosses: Ice and Fire, Abyss of Inferno, and Mutaclone. The songs run on the same basic system, but the music gets more complex with each of the 3 levels. In Ice and Fire, the music is just one or 2 basic repeating melodies. In Abyss of Inferno, it starts differently and adds more parts, making the song more complex. Mutaclone has very little of the Ice and Fire soundtrack in it, but it's mixed in in there along with the other music. To hear the soundtrack of this game, just follow my link: http://web8.orcaserver.de/ecco/music/dotf/index.php
But beware, as some of the music can be creepy, and for some reason, I can't stand Sleeping Forces of Doom. The music just freaks me out. The rest of you probably aren't as chicken as I am though.l

6th level? Well, I congratulate you for being able to get past Four Ways of Mystery on your own, if that's indeed what you did. Even following all of the walkthroughs, I still can't figure out how to get the manta ray to keep the big eel from eating me.

It doesn't matter which one. They're basically the same, but the PS2 kind of improved on the Sega Dreamcast version, fixing up some annoying glitches and adding a few more clues to make it easier. And on the PS2, the vitalits do more than just improve your health meter. They open up a feature called the gallery, which is pretty neat and has a secret passage or two to explore. grincolonp.gif

Something that I wish I could do is make a video walkthrough for the levels that I can do, which are Aquamarine Bay, Perils of the Coral Reef, Trial Without Error, Atlantis Lost, Shrine of Controversy, Master of Forgotten Skills, Anguish of Dearth, Ice and Fire, Abyss of Inferno, and Mutaclone, but unfortunately I do not know how to record what I'm playing and put it on a computer. It would be a useful resource for other players, and I could expand it by playing, and hopefully beating some of the other levels.
