Can a person only carry the disease but not get sick?

Well, you probably can if you go through the course of the disease without symptoms. But STDs can live in the human body for years, it's not uncommon for people to pass infections to each other for decades

There are people who don't get sick. They just carry the infection in themselves and can infect others. I am a virologist and I know what it is.
