Steele. Balto only ran for a short distance while Steele ran a whole race.

What? you're saying Balto has no endurance? Okay, first of all Balto had to prove himself to the other dogs and he practically had to go through an agility course to beat the others and he still won! Steele would've been behind in the snow if that had been him!

Balto because he won a race and dont forget that time when rosy's hat flew away and steel's team was coming and Balto ran faster then Steel and got the hat.

I think you missed the point in my post. I wasn't talking about the race to be in the team, I'm talking about the beginning of the movie.

Of course Balto would've ran faster then Steele, he wasn't pulling anything and he didn't have to run so many miles before.

Balto, even if when he outran steele it was easier for him since he didn't have to pull a sled while running so it wasn't a fair runalso because steele tried to bite balto, but I think Balto is faster because in a part star says slow down Balto, so star couldn't catch up to Balto but he could catch up with steele even when steele was doing his best.

I also agree with that, also Steele seems more of a fighter than a runner.

yes it is an intresting point but Balto never got a chance to run a race like Steele so that point can't be used.
